I guess you can say, seeing a Japanese person deeply involved in Bonsai taking a leap into the world is the world of Bonsai taking a leap at the right direction. This is what we want, grow together.. //Bonsai Talk
@Shawn Boss Yes you can with flower buds and everything! It only lives one year though...and then you smoke it! And I have pictures to prove it!!! 👌😜 Cheers, Hans van Meer. KARAMOTTO BONSAI.
I don´t understand the branchs positions, there are several, that begin at the same level, I thought that branches should be placed, like a spiral staircase is it not?
Fantastic job. A true artist. I just tried my first try at wiring. Only a few branches to see if I can get the handle of it without over stressing the tree. I am curious on how to know which size wire will work best for certain branches. Do you have a wire diameter to branch diameter ratio? Or just by experience? I only have about 6 sizes of wire for beginners work, but most of my trees are still VERY young. I only have a couple that are older. Is aluminum used here? Or was there copper as well? I have annealed aluminum and some copper. I would think the biggest ( thickest) branches may have used copper since its a harder wire, even when annealed? Or was all of this aluminum? As easily as the wire was shapeable, I was thinking all aluminum. It takes a long time to be able to see this kind of potential in a stock material. I am NOT there yet. Thank you for the demonstration, as a student, I need all the help and info I can get.
I am not a big fan of spruce bonsai because of the needle formation. However Masashi Hirao does a magnificent piece of work on this plant. I am very impressed.
Wow, i would love to do your kind of work, very well done Sir;, i have an interest in Bonsai, but just have no idea where to begin, thank you, enjoyed the video and the great work on the tree. Sincerely Rick.
I too just started taking an interest. I'm just watching videos and spotting trees I might wanna try to harvest for next year. search TH-cam for best lecture for beginners. should be a 9 part video playlist. I started their and I actually feel pretty knowledgeable after watching it. I think it takes about an hour or hour and a half to watch.
Very well done Good thankyou very max I would love some information on traveling to Japan and furthering my bonzai skills. Could you please point me in the right direction. Cheers . Bonsai is an art of patience, dedication and skill
I love how all the amateurs step in and say it's abusing nature and why you have to use wire. The tree will live longer than your entire family tree most likely. Also, do you cut your grass and weed the garden? If so, please don't open your ignorant mouths and do some research so you understand.
Let the tree tell you when to remove the wire. There is no set time. The more growth the branch has, the quicker they will set. When you see the branch beginning to swell around the wire, take it off. If the branch hasn't completely set, rewire it but coil the wire in the opposite direction than you did the first time. This will help you avoid the wire marks. I have left wire on my trees for up to, and even longer than a year without the first scar.
Your technique is enlightening. Wonderful...only that you never tell us the secret and names of the style and how if certain style is followed. But, still I like it...Wonderful Sir.

why you use the wire? its that nessesery? what for? sorry im still new in bonzai... :3
+Shasha Ali Wiring is used for adjusting the shape however you want it to be
Perfect!
what type of wire is best? or does it matter?
+Mark Peredo Aluminum is considered easier to start out with, copper is used by more advanced students
+Bonsai Empire Hey, i`m new in this. Why do you use the wire for?
precioso!
How long before you can remove the wire?
Jean-Paul Phan Depends on how well the tree grows. A few months probably.
Let the tree tell you when to remove the wire. There is no set time. The more growth the branch has, the quicker they will set.
