Trigger Riot Action

Tiptop Audio Trigger Riot is an absolutely essential module in my system. In this video I use it as a clock and reset source for my Z8000 CV sequencer, trigger and accent drum modules and sample players, trigger envelopes, clock delays, ping filters, automate algorithm switching on Z-DSP, start and stop loopers. In all the patches Trigger Riot is the only source of gates and triggers, all played live - no overdubs!

what do you think about io labs flux? how do you compare it to T.R ?

I was not aware of it, on a closer examination: it is a sequencer not a clock divider so at its core it is very different animal. for my personal working methods it is overly complicated and together with such a tiny screen I'm not sure how practical that would be. in any case I would love to try one that's for sure! what I hear in the demo videos is very cool

@@Station252 thx, for me the only Way to use flux would be into Ableton as a plugin, but now, I probably pick a trigger riot as a sample player instead...

Pamela is a good module, user interface not so much, timing precision is nowhere near acceptable. in the world where Beatstep Pro is considered good, Pamela is definitely a good choice for many people, not for me though.
