I always love seeing what Shakmat has in development at SuperBooth! Looking forward to looking more into Bishop’s Miscellany and Griffin’s Claw. I hope the interfaces remain nice and tactile and immediate even with the screens. It’s hard to tell in the demos. Makes a lot of sense to have these small screens instead of the segment displays. I want to dig in more with Bishops too to see what clocking looks like for the recording and how it breaks that down. Love that there is a slicer in there. Griffin’s claw seems like that Noise Engineering offset module but with recording. Love that idea! Plus having independent sliders for each channel of recording is really nice!
So much scope in the voice and the sequencing.
Bishop's Miscellany and Griffin's Claws go straight to my "contenders" list! AND, thank you Shakmat for keeping the purity of Silver panels!!!
Ballista Blast is perfect. I'd like an fm and wavetable voice without losing too much real estate.
So glad to see that the Archer's Rig hasn't been abandoned & that new Bishop's Miscellany MK2 looks amazing! Still one of my favorite manufacturers.
Waited new Bishop's Miscellany for a long time
Shakmat always on fire! Griffin's Claws seems like a nice compliment to their Aeolus Seeds quad based architecture.
It seem like several modular companies are kinda entering a new phase. The new modules are so much more sophisticated and streamlined compared to their predecessors.
Love everything they've done, wish they'd have larger production runs for some things though...
Their quad support stuff is fantastic! If you've thought about dipping your feet into quad, the Aeolus Mixer is just perfect.
Some of these module names sound like craft ales.
Got a medieval/fantasy/D&D thing going on.
Hmmmm, Old Speckled Hen.
What's up? I thought it was going to be released early June? We're heading towards the end of June now!
very nice!
