    i got one for $360 a few years ago. it was my first sequencer. i love it. I like that its just a Light Bright toy circuit bent into a DAW. I started with circadian rhythms, a ornament and crime, Plaits and a Behringer neutron and a clouds.

    the TTA CA has been on my list for a while now..... I've the trigger riot and other drum sequencers...... one thing I've found odd though is that there's no youtube videos demonstrating the CA paired up with the trigger riot via the syncbus cable..... if the CA was in boss mode controlling the TR surely that would be a powerful combination for creating 'generative' style beats.... surely you could demo this set up for us?

    What's the drums in this? Really dig the sound.

    • @Station252
      @Station252  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Main track is Tiptop Audio BD909 and 909 hats with a bunch of tiptop ONEs doing the rest of the drums, the examples are almost the same with the Jomox mbase 11 (tabletop) on bass drum duties - still haven’t decided if I like it enough though, BD 909 is just too good and very hard to replace. All triggered from CR

      I bought a Squid Salmple so I don’t need to buy separate drums, but no doubt I will at some point! I really need a better main trigger sequencer. I always end up playing Steppy the most so a Circadian rhythms would be similar and super playable.

    I love this video. Waiting on my Assimil8tor to get here to start learning the circadian rhythm. Any chance of a deep dive on how you use yours? Thanks!

    • @Station252
      @Station252  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thank you! I was thinking about doing a deep dive tutorial for the CR, but it’s pretty simple or maybe I am just too familiar with it? In any case it’s on my to do list :)
      Assimil8tor is amazing! Maybe one day I’ll have it!

      I would buy locally if I can but if not possible check out big on-line shops like Thomann and Sweetwater

    for techno drum programming.. this or the trigger riot? which is better? :)

    • @Station252
      @Station252  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Oh… they are so different and yet both are essential to me. I would say CR is faster to program and more immediate to re-program on the fly. TR is also quite fast but it is a clock divider/ multiplier so naturally a bit tricky to get the results that you want but it can do rhythmic patterns that are hard to even imagine and impossible to program on CR, still you can do simple stuff on TR pretty easily just not so lightning fast as on CR
