Absolute truth - in a short 6 weeks I lowered my CRP level of just under 30 to 5.1, lowered my AIC from 6.8 to 5.7 and my kidneys no longer leaked protein - I prioritised my protein didn’t fear good fats and limited my carbs to small amounts of steamed vegetables salad 1 piece of low GI fruit a day - I walked most days and did strength resistance training 2-3 times. My GP could not believe my improved blood results - she simply said keep on doing what you’re doing, there’s no drug I could have given you to achieve these results - 12 months in I’m 28 kilos down another 12 to go. I’m the fittest and healthiest I’ve been in the last 20 years, soon to be 64.

Hi Dr Cywes I have just completed my 90 day carnivore challenge and for me there is no going back. My unruly bowel gone all my medication to stop that stopped from 6 weeks in. Chronic shoulder pain gone and on the last week I found I can walk up stairs using alternate legs. Three years ago I was house bound due to horrendous back pain- gone. I recently went to Amsterdam and was walking 21,000 steps each day no pain. My sleep pattern is really good and my energy level is consistent throughout the day no peaks and troughs. My health is better than when I was 25 and that was four decades ago.

As usual. Your perspective and insights are brilliant! Your 5 O'clock get eating alive by Mosquitos in FL. analogy is spot on! No wonder I see so many people running around swelled up and "red as raspberries"! Clearly they have been out at 5:00!! And that perspective puts the cart behind the horse, where it rightfully belongs!! So many of us have gotten our selves completely sideways with this stuff because of the inverted approach that modern medicine so often takes, and our lemming like lockstep following of their ridiculous advice!! Somehow, I'm reminded of the guy trying to kill a fly with a sledgehammer. He may get lucky, and hit the damn thing. But not before he destroys the whole kitchen in the process. Thank you again Dr Cywes!! 🙂

I had a CAC test score of 420 18 months ago and as a result was put on a statin, colchicine and asprin. I also went low carb and my fitness, weight and energy levels returned to what they were 20 years ago. 6 months ago I had a new CAC test and the result was 750, I immediately stopped my statin and 3 months later had my cholesterol tested. My trig/hdl was 0.28 which puts me in pattern A so I couldn't be happier.

    5. Conclusions
In conclusion, our work demonstrates that SRP can attenuate the elevated inflammatory biomarkers (MCP-1, IL-2, IL-4, IL-6, and TNF-α), the production of MDA, ROS intensity, CATx, and GSH impact in the setting of LPS-induced vascular inflammation. SRP inhibits inflammation and oxidative stress through the endothelium MCP-1. We concluded that SRP has the ability to modulate vascular inflammation. Further studies will be required to explore the detailed mechanisms of the cardio-protective effects produced by SRP. These results suggest that serratiopeptidase may be a therapeutic agent for vascular inflammation in cardiovascular diseases.

1:10 Correction: Fibromyalgia isn’t inflammatory (the current consensus)….it’s a central nervous system disorder….central sensitization creating overactive nerves…the body(brain) becomes hyper vigilant to external and internal stimuli …there are no inflammatory markers for Fibro…Having said this, there are currently some new studies/research that are testing the possibility of brain inflammatory markers in Fibro patients, but that research is non-conclusive present day…what we do know is that Fibro is a chronic condition where doctors test for all other conditions in your body, and when none are found, Fibro is diagnosed….I’ve lived with Fibro flare ups for nearly 30 yrs now…when you’re in a flare, your life greatly becomes compromised…

This sounds preposterous, I'm sure to most people, but please hear me out. After Dr C has said almost in every video about how "nicotine causes heart attack and strokes"...I keep thinking: Wait. Didn't almost everyone smoke up until 1970ish & yet rates of strokes have gone up since that time? It seems (as so many keto-carnivore doctors state) that more people die of inflammation / insulin resistance-caused heart attacks & strokes than nicotine, except for Dr C. Maybe they die of lung cancer, and I do know smoking doesn't help--But My own FIL and Grandma smoked like crazy for decades and decades. Both died FULL of long years from unrelated issues! My grandma died at 97 bc she fell and got depressed. Keto docs always are talking about how obesity and metabolic syndrome have skyrocketed since the 70s-80s....but smoking has gone waaayyy down. maybe it still causes lung cancer, but I don't see many people smoking anymore...and most are overweight anyway (like most people nowadays). Help me understand this...respectfully. Truly.

Carbs are the cause of less than 10% of the glycation occuring in the body. The other 90% comes from aldehyde, methylglyoxyl etc. Please read the work of Chris Masterjohn on this. Until you are severely diabetic, blood glucose should not be the main focus. I like your content, but your biais against carbs take a lot of room.
