I honestly will say I think it is important to release for the new collectors who missed out. I seen this figure recently (the old one) for something over $50 bucks. I am just not doing it. But at $25 (the normal price), I can justify it.
Also the old Mark 85 figure has been prone to breakage around the thigh area as I just saw my old Mark 85 Iron Man figure from 2019 had his thigh broke as I was digging through to look for my Star Wars TVC figures.
MCUCollector and ShartimusPrime are the only influencers in this space that actually have fun with this toy line. Funny how a most of this community of literally TOY collectors complain so such. Like this is supposed to be a fun hobby and all people do is nag about stuff they claim to enjoy
Dude for real. Bunch of grown ass men crying about toys. It’s almost like they believe they HAVE to buy them. Lmao. Anthony’s customs is the worst to me. He absolutely hates them. And his excuse is it’s his job to review them. But that’s just goofy as hell.
@@HistorySkate Anthony’s Customs name is brought up everywhere. I don’t pay attention to people that dabble more into imports than ML’s. I’m more specifically talking about the Marvel legends community itself. Most of these influencers are not bad. But it’s like dude you guys sound like a broken record talking about the same ish over and over again. Like get over yourself already.
And I get it too. It’s a passion. We read the comics, we have expectations. But at some point look at yourself and realize what you’re type of energy you are putting into for a fucking hobby for Christ sake. It’s a hobby. Treat it as such.

Don't forget XManny87 & The Fwoosh/Robo Don't Know, well Manny can be a little critic, but he really enjoys the stuff that he claims he doesn't enjoy (XManny87 is my personal favorite reviewer, every review he uploads is always so perfect & convincing, my only "gripe" about him is that he barely does have enough reviews (he did collect alot of figures, but only reviewed a few)). The Fwoosh is on another level, when I watch his reviews, it doesn't even feel like a review, it always feels like I'm watching a wholesome man enjoying the figure that they bought. No offense to Anthony, but he's too negative & critizing. He always sh*ts & slanders on the Marvel Legends Darwin (Bonebreaker Wave), but personally, the Darwin figure isn't so bad, in fact he's one of the figures I collected (and take note I'm not some figure reviewer, so I only collect figures that interest me, Darwin is one of them).
I'm new to marvel legends so this is a figure that I want without paying a arm and a leg for.
I own both the 2019 release and the thanos 2 pack release and I'm still picking this one up, his colors look the best to me out of all of them, the original one was too dull, the 2 pack one was too bright, this one looks the most accurate to me.

I've wanted mark 85 but its price has gone up now, so I've been waiting for reissue like this.

The original was released with the same accessories plus a Stark Nano Gauntlet and a BAF piece at a cheaper price. COVID really messed everything up. 7:25 I appreciate and thank you for that. 9:50 Head is on a peg hinge and no ball. 12:54 The silver on the upper back of the shoulders is in a different spot. It's lower on the new one in the middle. 13:28 I'd like to see a final battle Infinity War Thor with accurate deco.
If it’s a repaint of the original release then it’s that stupid peg hinge. Which is annoying because it would have been more useful to be a ball joint as we would benefit from unmasked Tony head swaps. They should have repainted the 2 pack version that came with Thanos. I hated the color tones on that. Ah well that’s too bad.
@@HausOfMontague exactly! I already own both of the older ones but if they repainted the two-pack version, I actually would have bought it simply for a more screen-accurate figure with tony snapping. Guess I'm saving 25 bucks with this one

So anyone asking knows, the recent mark 46 Tony Stark head fits perfectly on this figure. I like it better actually!

I for one, am glad they released this because I missed the Mark 85 the first time around. I recently scored the Mark 43 and 46. Now my Marvel Legends MCU Iron Man collection is complete.
I’ll get this one since I just started getting marvel legends a couple months ago. Also if some stores would stock up on figures.

I had to wait 2 years for Entertainment Earth to ship the Iron man and Thanos 2-pack
It is interesting you mentioned the Mark 2, 3 and 7. The 3 and 7 are my favorite. I could have purchased the mark 2 on sale for like $14 but it would have only been a place holder for the Mark 3 I really want. With that said, this is why reissues are so important. I paid $40 for the Mark 7. I was not going to pay $60 for the Mark 3.

It’s been ages now that I gotten this Iron Man figure. It’s been since.
The spider man would have sold better if it included the legs.. I see more iron spiders than Ironmans on shelves.. I think Ironman would have done better if it was the removable neck version with this paint scheme.. they didn’t have through in the extra head but had it to be an option for the people that had the other version but wanted this paint to with there neck & head
U think the tony stark head from endagame two pack will fit on this as far as the ball joint
Unfortunately it will not but if you have the infinity saga iron man from civil war. That Tony Stark Head fits perfectly!

I bought 2pack edition and repainted it because of the lazy and simple work of silver (black) details.
Hasbro fck if ur not going improve on the articulations at last do better work on painting details.
The Bro Thor BAF Iron Man Mark 85 came with fists 4 blast effects and a Thanos sized nano gauntlet

Is the new figure on a dumbbell joint for the head? I know the first release had a hinge and peg instead of a ball and the infinity saga version had the interchangeable head and neck

Does anyone else think the Snap 2 Pack Iron Man stands wayyyy too wide? My figure can barely stand properly because he looks lik he's doing the splits. For that alone I might pick up this new one even if it's less accurate to the film.

Hasblow loves to milk the same mold for a figure they do it with ML, especially transformers and I'm tired of it! It's Lazy and played out!
I'm not wasting money on reused molds that they can't even be bothered to hide the pins on. Would've liked this one if they put some effort into it.
Okay, then don't. Like MCUcollector24 said, Hasbro already told us straight-up that these are reissues for people that missed out. People shouldn't expect a completely re-done figure or anything. That's not what this is intended to be. If you don't like it, the best thing to do is to not buy it. You don't have to.
