I needed to replace my cushions so, I went to Amazon and ordered Wicked Cushions replacements, went to the shortest video and Boom, there you were! Easy Peasy....I have my beloved Studio Monitors back in full glory. Great Product.......And much easier to put on than I thought. 👍👍
Thanks for this. They were a little trickier for me to put on than the video demonstrates. I found that it was helpful to have a little plastic pry tool (or credit card) on hand to really make sure the covers were fully in the groove. Once on these are a major upgrade, especially since my original Sony MDR-7506 pads were crumbling apart all over my ears and floor. Definitely recommended!
Thanks, looks a lot easier than actually doing it! Very similar to putting on tight bedsheets, make sure to pin down areas you have already had success slipping the pad in!
Every video makes the part where you stretch the new ear pad "apron" around the earcups look SO quick and easy. Meanwhile, I'm about to throw my headphones through the window in frustration.
These are clearly aftermarket pads that fit easily over the rims of the base. The OEM pads are significantly harder to get on and require some patience as you stretch out all sides equally. They actually seem like they're too small, but comparing them to the old pad, they're the exact same size.
These are not suppose to go OVER the rims, we have seen people do that, but as you can see from the video - I insert it in between the rims. Going over the rims is just going to cause unnecessary issues & will fit awkward. These fit exactly like the originals fit.
This won't help you any with the original ear buds tho as their leather lips are much shorter and they are more stiff in general. Those in the video are very lenient. For the original ear buds you need some helper tool; a little metal hook (without sharp edges obviously). Wrap one small part of the lip over the edge for starters. Then slip the hook under the lip and slide it slowly alongside the unmatched socket path. The leather lip will get pulled up by the hook and slip into the socket behind it.
It depends, if the original ear pads are new, its going to be very easy to install them. However, if the original ones fell out and are already stretched out, its going to be difficult as you explained
Spot on video. Everything you need to know without filler stuff to make up time. Thank you I’ve now got nice new pads on my headphones
Glad it was helpful!

It takes a lot of practice to be good at it. When you install the ear pads, start from the top and don't be afraid to stretch the cushion.
Thank you for the clear instructions.
You're welcome!
