Super important to lubricate these and CHECK that they remain lubricated. My front panhard rod bushings seized and actually snapped the rod where it connected to the diff housing on the highway doing 100k's an hour. Bloody terrifying.

    Hi there
I was very impressed with the ratings the super pro bushes have in the market, especially with the machined finish and knurled grease retaining internal bore.
I have decided to choose the SUPERPRO to rebush the front bushes(SPF1574K) of the rear trailing arms on my 2000 Lancer as well as the lower control arm bushes (SPF1573K) as recommended in the fitting instructions
I received the spf1573k today and was disappointed to notice each bush is missing the knurled grease retaining internal bore
Does this seem right to you?
I do understand each bush kit is made to suit it's application

Hey Josh, based on the information given we can tell you have received the correct production parts.
While we promote grease retaining groves, knurled bores, machined ends and in some cases bullet grooves. Not every bush requires these features.
When SPF1573 was developed it was decided not to run with the knurled bore as the bushing is quite small with a very low surface area.

Do you have a set of bushings for an 09 Scion tC for an American customer? I'm also looking for engine mounts. I want to eliminate wheel hop and have my suspension really tight and reliant on good a strut setup for ride quality and handling rather than having the bushings as a variable. Car is a daily driver, but not a commuter. It's also a weekend warrior "do everything" car, and in the future will be turbo'd to the tune of 400-450 WHP and used for rolls, digs, auto-x, road courses, and drag days.

I'm trying to instal Superpro rear control arm and rear lower shock mount bushes on my 1999/00 EK Honda Civic 3 door hatch. The control arm is pressed steel, not cast iron. The guidance/instructions for the inner and outer control arm bushes is great and they've been successfully installed using the OEM bush outer steel case. The guidance/instructions for the lower shock mount bush are not so clear. The bush I've been sold as being suitable is part #1527 ... cotton reel style with an OD of 40mm and a barrel length of approx 38mm. The bush opening in the control arm has an ID of approx 37mm and a pressed shoulder of approx 11mm. QUESTIONS: do I press the Superpro bush into the OEM bush outer steel case, or do I remove the OEM bush completely and press the Superpro bush straight into the control arm bush opening? If the latter, the new bush will exceed the shoulder by approx 13mm on either side. Is part #1527 the correct part for my application? Thank you.
