  • I couldn't find an example of anyone else fitting one of these so I have documented my experience.
In this video I cover what is in the box and the install process, some personal highlights are spending 30 mins drilling out a rounded out hex nut and cursing a lot. The cream on top was forgetting the spacer during the install and having to pop that in after.
For those who are looking for an alternative for the stock Slave which is prone to failure I can say it should be an easy install.
You will need the spacer if your Ducati Monster is 2000 and not just pre 2000. I'm given to understand it should fit a range of monsters and Ducatis from the 90s but I can only confirm success on the Monster 600 from the year 2000.

Steel bolts in alloy, good chance they'll be seized. Buy some Copa lip, or similar anti-seize compound.
While you're at it get a small steel tube, about 20cm long with an ID of 12mm, cheater bar for Allen keys.

What was the reason for replacing the clutch slave? was it failing to engage the clutch fully?

The original was leaking and the cost for seal kit wasn’t much less than a full replacement. Online people suggested a common upgrade to the Oberon slave. I thought I’d take the risk on this one and it was great for the year I ran it before selling.

@@ThatBikerDadI couldn’t really tell any difference. But it’s a cheaper alternative to OEM.
