Thanks for this video. exactly what I needed. When you say "add some oil" you actually mean add some brake fluid, right?

Yes, I was referring to brake fluid/oil

Are these slave cylinders from Oberon serviceable? My OEM is leaking and is not serviceable which is a shame. I'm thinking on getting this Oberon slave, but would like to know if I will be able to fix it when it starts leaking, Thanks!!

Thanks 🙏🏻 …so what about the seal on the reservoir? Did it leak at the joint? I did mine and it leaked, still is leaking. Was there a specific way to put the rubber bag into the reservoir? You cut that bit out - cheers 👍🏻 oh, does yours bite/engage right at the end of the lever? I hate that mine does it.

Mine didn’t leak at the reservoir, no issue there, if you have a leak there then you might want to check the seal.

My Monster had a O-ring leak caused by the push rod from the master cylinder across to the clutch.

      That can also happen

The clutch lever was not disengaging the clutch any longer, it’s very easy to spot.

why was it leaking to begin with?

For whatever reason the seals in the stock slave cylinders deform and start to leak. Had the same problem with mine. Could just be because the brake/clutch fluid is corrosive.

@@clarkwest2112 im just wondering if i can just change the seals and save a 100$

@@ducatiguy1113 If you can find the right seals then definitely go for it. In my case the stock slave cylinder has been discontinued so the only option is to replace the whole piece.
