Only problem was Honda released their cbr954rr with a narrow piston skirt, to reduce weight, cool idea, with nikasil, but the narrow piston skirt started to dig into the boar of the cylinders, creating piston slap.
Could you please point out the resource for me, where TRW is mentioned as Inventor of Nikasil. All informations that i could find was that MAHLE invented the coating in 1967 for the inner coating of rotary Engines (Wikipedia and other resources). Even the pending patend is registered on MAHLE.

Easily solved, download an equalizer for chrome or firefox that has an option for mono sound. Just click it and its fixed

How do you put 100,000 miles on a Harley, my ass would fall off, I've had mine since 1996 and I think it's got maybe 55,000 on it.

If it's so hard you need diamonds to hone it how can you then say it's really weak with dirt, are you suggesting dirt is harder than diamond?
Removing material by abrasion and accurately machining something with a tolerance of -.000”+.0005” are two completely different things.
But is it applied by electric arc spraying or in some other way?
