    Lesley you're reading my mind! I start every day off with a slow paced yoga warm up followed by a run and ending with one of your videos. Your way of teaching fits my body and mind so well.     As a marathon runner I get really tight in all these areas and I do this video so often. It's really perfect, and would absolutely LOVE a new class similar to this!! 🙏🏻

    I used to be a ballet dancer, and now that I'm in college I have taken up running - it's amazing how tight the muscles get! The stretches were great, simple and effective and very similar to ones I used to do as a dancer (although I get a LOT more stretch out of them now!) I also love your energizing flow yoga and I plan to alternate between these two for a while. I take a free yoga class at school, but it's so helpful to have found this channel to be able to practice over summer.

    Absolutely wonderful practice today. You continue to enhance the quality of my life. The water in the background of this video was so peaceful and serene. My mind is always running, and today during savasana I had cleared most of my thoughts which is the quietest my mind and body have been in quite some time. Thank you again for dedicating your life to the better of all humans. I will continue your practice for the rest of my life and I will tell anyone who will listen that the way to a better life is through yoga, self acceptance and understanding your body.     This was a wonderful Routine for runners. I am currently preparing for a halfmarathon and yogaroutines have become part of my weekly plan. Additionally to the perfectly chozen poses Lesleys voice always helps me to calm down, to be mindful and it makes yoga feel like moving trhough water indeed. I will think about this during the 18kilometer Training run that is planned for tomorrow and have a very good night sleep after this flow.

    I loved this short but very helpful class; I've been a runner for 5 years and my hips and hamstrings have become so tight throughout those years. It's very depressing since I used to be a gymnast/dancer and mastered splits in all directions :( But with your help, I'm sure I'll get back to where I used to be :) Thanks for the video!

    I love all of your videos Leslie! I only wish this one was a little slower so we could get in to the stretches deeper. I found myself pausing it a lot to continue a stretch...running has made my legs sooo tight.

    I don't do yoga but I injured my foot and wanted to take the opportunity to do some important work on my stretches. it moved fast which was good for keeping me engaged but was a little hard to keep up @ some points. over all, really liked it. especially the hip stretches. thank you!

    Thank you so much for this video! I'm not a runner, but have had a LOT of tightness in my hips since I was a teenager (I'm 25 now) and yoga is slowly but surely helping out with that problem.     Dear Lesley, I've been doing your classes for 6 months and I LOVE them, and have been telling everyone I know about them. Today I did this class which is one of my favourite but it was interrupted *twice* with advertisement. I understand that you need the revenue from the ads and don't know if you have any control over what TH-cam does ad-wise (probably not) but I thought you should know as for me this is a total killer! I can deal with the ad at the start but during the class it completely disrupts the atmosphere and focus that you so skillfully establish.

    These are amazing. Thank you so much. The flow is a little fast, but there is a lot packed in! This felt amazing after my jog in the morning. And your evening flow one is really making a difference in my sleep routine. Again, thank you. You have a very calming voice which is perfect for yoga.

    It's been a tough day, hard enough for me to not feeling like getting out of bed this morning and doing yoga.     This felt great after a very competitive 5k. I finished 9th overall! Woohoo. But afterwards, the legs were so tight! This was a nice way to loosen up. It's amazing how much my balance and strength have improved since taking your classes. Thank you!

    Just what I needed this morning! I ride my bicycle, but these stretches were very good for my tight legs from yesterday's workout. I would love to see an actual "yoga for cyclists" class - I think it would be well received, we have a large community of cyclists out there who would appreciate the class. :)

    I have a shin splint for a year now, and I stopped running since july ... I miss it a lot, but whatever. I don't know when I'll be able to run again, but in the meantime, this video will be a great help because my hamstrings are really tight ! I always had tight leg muscles, I looove to stretch it out !     This was a great class.. I was wondering if you would add or do anything different for cyclist?

      bizzquik1981 I think it would be similar, but I would probably also add some shoulder and chest opening because in cylcing, your position is leaning forward with the upper back and shoulders kind of rounded.     I did this video before and after power walking and I didn't have much pain afterwards! Also at the end hearing the water was very relaxing as well. Do you have a video for chronic low back pain?

      jessica accorso I used to have a yoga teacher who taught at a climbing gym and she addressed this issue. Her advice was that stretching after a workout will NOT make you more flexible, it only relaxes the muscles after working out. She said if we want to get stronger AND more flexible, we need to work on flexibility everyday in addition to post workout stretches.

    I was reading a little about kundalini yoga, do you think you can do a practice like that?

    Wow, I didn't realize how tight my leg muscles were from years of running (and injuries). This was really great! Thank you - how often would you recommend doing this class as I'm recovering from a running injury (achilles tendonitis + baker's cyst..sigh)? Thanks again! X

    I was told by my podiatrist to stretch my calves and hamstrings. A pilates instructor friend of mine told me I already have really flexible hip flexors. Which video would you recommend?

    The sequence is great--but the speed is too fast for me. As a runner, my preference is to increase the length of time in deeper asanas that hit the hip flexors and hamstrings.

    Good poses chosen. Frustrating because most of the poses you held for a second, not even one breath, I was not hardly in position and you changed it. Probably be alright but I couldnt hear clearly. Ill try it again but it was difficult to hear or understand direction.

    Some nice stretches but I would have liked you to have held them for longer. Some poses were held for less than one breath so I don’t actually feel that I got the benefit of them. Also the video is a few breaths ahead of the audio so what is on the screen is ahead of what you are saying which was a bit frustrating.

      Feel free to use the pause button. This video was made a few years ago when we were learning how to make yoga videos. :)

    I was really feeling good about this video until an Expedia commercial pops up in the middle of the flow.
    If you're going to have TH-cam commercials, put them at the start or end of the video.

    as a moderately serious runner, i have seriously inflexible legs. I've found that way less poses done for far longer are way more effective. these are too quick and do nothing for me
