GSPRO Was, is and will be the best option. 350 Not worth it. maybe 200 at most would be... and maybe not even that, maybe 150 would sell good. Cause for 200..i still prefer to add those 50 and get gspro
The software does look pretty impressive, but not a patch on GSPro and everything you get within it for the price
It is a huge update. Integrated Course for $220. And updated Graphics for Driving Range and Skill test.
I think you need to the Essential plan as well to get courses, which is another $129

Also, all the ranges are not shown when you do All Ranges, you have to select View All so you see them on a list on the right, download and then select and hit ‘Tee Off’ on Bottom Right.

You’re probably right, but I’ve always worn white shoes when using the SkyTrak and for whatever reason on this particular day it was no reading a hell of a lot more than it usually does 🤷🏻♂️
Very unimpressed with this update.

I’m interested to see the ball physics on course play. On the range the ball always seems to stop dead on skytrak where in real life there would often be more roll out. Gs Pro physics are pretty good and my gut feel is skytrak physics for course play will let this product down.

if you are a good enough player that you have the ability to work the ball, and know how your ball reacts when its on the green you will HATE these devices. they're TRASH. they're made for the average to high handicap golfer to have fun and play terrible courses and for people who like to putt in a simulator.
Interesting. I know a fair few low/scratch and even plus hcp golfers who feel that these launch monitors are pretty accurate
@@hcpgolf well i guess i just got unlucky with mine then even the st+ won't register ball speeds over 180 correctly at all.
And more positive feelings about the product. Golf course graphics are very competitive on a quality basis with GSPro.

I have the OG SkyTrak since winter 2018. I get tired of the no reads
Must admit I’m starting to get more & more frustrated with them
it works with new update. Also you need well lighted area and no white background behind you.

@@davidcole2337 yeah I’ve done it all. I’ve had it for going on 6 years and know all the quirks of it.
@@hcpgolfMitch if you do change it’d be great to see a multi-video shootout of the contenders (guessing- GC3, Eye Mini Lite, Mevo +, Maybe a ceiling monitor and any new LMs that might be released)
Good honest first impression Mitch. I’ve not got this, but based upon this, I think I’ll wait a while as like say, it doesn’t look finished & some of the features are a little odd. Good video tho mate 👍🏻

does this only comes if you pay for the membership correct or you just get the old version with no add ons?
If you don’t pay for any membership, you will be on the basic/free package which just gives you access to the standard driving range and none of its features
Love your videos Mitch but this one could have been researched better. Other reviews I’ve seen have now provided more answers.

Ye I found that on the description of the driving range towards the end!
I just downloaded and the regular driving range looks like and behaves like windows 95 graphics..wtf. AND I need to pay more money for the courses when I already have the more pricey version. Honestly - not impressed and will revert back to the previous version.
I do quite like the new range offerings, but as for the price of the courses I think its pretty steep (especially if you have the highest end subscription)
I agree I put the old software back on... The graphics of the standard driving range was ugly!, yardage markers don't show numbers wtf..

Does it have an Angle of Attack metric? That's a key metric Skytrak doesn't have
Not on the original. You need club data capture to get that
