The entire Grand Festival Grounds was just so amazing, from the color fountain, to the unique festival booths (I loved seeing Octavio!!), to the army of jellies ESPECIALLY THE ONES WITH IDOL HEADBANDS, and of course the idol performances. I started to cry watching Three Wishes. The whole fest was so beautiful. ❤💚💜
Honestly, my luck with Splatfests in Splatoon 3 has been so bad that when team Future got zero points, I couldn't even be mad. I just laughed.
Winning a 100x with my bestie was the best part! And also winning the whole fest!

I was on team future. I’m a tiny bit salty that we didn’t win a single category, but both present and past did such a good job. My favourite memory is probably getting a killstreak of 4 or 5 while defending the signal. My entire team was up on the platform, and were constantly being rushed by past and present. I was running bloblobber so I got a few accidental kills as well with some stray bubbles 😂
Same. I had a match where I was constantly killing the attackers trying to climb up the middle. Splatlings go brr.
I think it was just fun getting to meet new friends during the entire wait for Grand Fest, so that remains a part of my heart in this one humongous event I say.
1:53 - 2:01 describes my experience of being an undercover brella player and getting 18 splats in a round bc the attackers kept attacking each other & getting splatted by my ink mines anytime they tried getting the signal 😭.
Gg to team past tho. I was on team present and I highkey wanted past to win in the end. Either way grandfest was amazing and i am happy we can at least revisit the venue .
My favoeite memory of the grand fest was doing my first map of tricolor and the absolute adrenaline rush and overwhelming eye candy that eas the stadium, effects, crowd noises and song

Cannons appear on the part of the stage just a bit close to when they appear after the second signal has been taken by one of the attackers, and it doesn’t matter if one team caught the first one and the other team gets the second.
For me, the attackers were actually working together while my shitty defender teammates didn't do their job. And I had mirror matches the majority of the time, so that also sucked.
My favourite memory is taking a milloin pictures of the idols on stage. (I need to clean my switches album)
My best moment was doing a wipeout on all four defending team future players in a tri-color. Team Past may have gotten the signals but I got the splats.

I'll have to admit playing GrandFest for 57 hours straight with barely any breaks just to get 0p in the result screen was very demoralising... My back still aches from all the gamer leaning...

Rainbow Color Inkantation truly had me locked in during those matches, most fun I’ve ever had
The freaking escalation for the last 10 seconds of rainbow color inkantation is easily the best version of now or never I’ve ever heard

I am Wii U original and I played my best for Callie and she finally won a final fest. The squid sisters are best idol group for music, design, personality, lore, and their base theme culture.
She technically won in Chaos vs Order. Still nice to see her and Marie win. Squid Sisters for life!!!

Team Past was the best team, because one time, I got matched with them as attackers, & guess what: They didn't attack us.
After we got both signals, they happily gave up their turf for us.
I'm allways annoyed when I get attacked from my own attack teammates, especially in the last few Seconds.
But finally, after 2 long years, I met a team that plays WITH you, not against you.
The fact alone, that a Past duo team was that smart, proofs to me they are the best team out of the three.
Team past player here. I literally took off work to play the splatfest the entire time so I’ll take my slander with pride.
On Tri-Color battles, I never had an easy time regardless of whether I was attacking or defending team. My favorite Grandfest memory was when I got a 12 match win streak on Tri-Color with Big Swig Express.

It feels so weird seeing that accusation leveled at Team Past when I'm also guilty of it, I was just on Team Future.
I mostly joined Team Past because of my veteran friends.😏 Don’t worry though, I was 💯% Committed!

It’s funny how I won a 100x in the grand fest with aerospray mg, the same weapon I won a 100x with in the world premiere. Ironic how I was on team future, yet it parallels the "past."
You know what they say, the more things change, the more things stay the same. :P
I was hoping I would get my first 333x since the world premiere (I was red for both Scissors and Past) but I suppose my legacy will go on as a 100% win ratio

The Grand Festival is in my opinion THE BEST experience I have ever had playing throughout Splatoon 3. I wished it never ended 😭😭
My favourite moment was my very last grandfest turf war. It was a 100x, and we won by the skin of our teeth! And when I mean last, I mean the grand festival ended during the battle, so this was literally my last chance to play one.
I played the splatfest for like 5 hours with my 10 year old cousin. He was so excited, and even though I was sick with covid and buried in college work, it gave me some joy

My favorite memory was all the festival, I was killing it with every match I played, I won around ten x10 matches and two x100, we may have lost horribly (Future), but at least I enjoyed this fest unlike the ones I never managed to play

The fact that I lost 4 100× battles (I never won a 100x battle😢) but I won my first 333x battle is fire🎉

Also lets face it no matter what team would of won, no matter what would of happened, we can all agree this was the best event the franchise saw thus far… with history literally repeating for a 3rd time in a row with last place having no points, the winning team having 3 category’s won and realizing it was for the memories, not the direction of Splatoon 4 (present and future will get dlcs anyway… probably)
Eather way, i did like the final match i played… being on attacking side, brush in hand… and 22 kills with both ultra signals activated

Also one of my favorite parts was this one discord server I’m in where most of us picked Future and we played with the TH-camr who owns it, we were making fun of team Present, and the TH-camr was saying things like, throughout heaven and earth, I alone, am the aerospray main. Idk it was just funny
Don’t know about favorite moment, but I just wanted to say I got three 100x battles- two of them were back to back no less- and lost all three. That was the most 100x I got in a single Splatfest, and also the only times a lost one. It would have been so much clout too so it really sucks…

I almost lost 333x in the last 15 seconds but somehow we still won by 2% thanks to the splosh activating stamp in their base and me throwing a last minute fizzbang. Most stress I ever received on team future D: (flashbacks to the 333x I lost in the last 30 seconds during the save the world splatfest team same ol)
Being 100% honest, grand festival fixed MY ONE ISSUE WITH SPLATFESTS!!! Having a set of songs play throughout the splatfest was perfect. having only one song play throughout an entire splatfest makes me just immediately go to the main lobby. This I actually stayed in the festival grounds for an hour before playing my first match.
I can confirm that team past was all sweats(I was one of them)

When I went to the weapon shop, I was forced to sit and listen to Sheldon nerd out about the new weapons for 5 minutes, WITH the speed-up. I wanted to give him a noogie through the screen.
