Dear CNN, I beg that you release all seasons of Parts Unknown for free in full on TH-cam. It will allow the sharing of this man's talent and work in opening up eyes to a wider world of culture, tradition, and in turn shrinking it by showing and sharing the common experiences across the globe, and our common and united interest and love we have in sharing food and drink. This would be an apt tribute to Tony, and a gift upon the wider community and citizens of this planet who have not yet been blessed by the education and perspective this man has given us lucky few who have watched this amazing series. RIP Tony, may you seek the light you were searching for, while we keep in memory the flame of your presence.
I unfortunately can’t copy your comment 😢 I wish CNN will eventually comply with your wish as it is what all the fans of Anthony Bourdain need and want 🤗 a place to celebrate his passion and work 🙏
I perform at the Charleston Grill and Bill comes in to hear my father and I play music there. We go and sit down and chat about songs, food and people in town, always nice seeing him, we're glad to have him here in Charleston

Bill Murray and Tony Bourdain sitting down to break bread seems to be an odd couple - more so than Eric Ripert's friendship with Tony?! That is rather an odd pairing of personalities in my mind! Cool, I would like to see more of this episode.
I'm always curious why people who can live anywhere choose to live in a certain place. I'm from Charleston, and I really think Bill Murray could have chosen much better. Unless his goal was to be close to CofC co-eds, which would be a creepy reason although a compelling one.
CNN LOL what does that stand for? They can’t even get 1 million viewers. And the only reason they get close to that is because of Anthony Bourdain LOL go sell ice cream on some other street because no one here is buying.. LOL
Little bit like how Californians say they have better Mexican food than Mexico. It would be like someone from Seattle hollering about how if you REALLY want the REAL poutine ...
I think this is the first time I’ve heard Anthony Bourdain‘s voice since his assisted suicide. In fact, I think this is the only thing seeing him was worth watching. It’s amazing how great Bill Murray truly is as well.

I think he meant that Southern cuisine was the first that had its roots in the US. Because New England cuisine for the most part was brought over from Britain.
yankee chef in the south, jaaaa LMAO... love Bourdain, wait for us in San Salvador, coming soon Bubba's BBQ and Roadhouse , hopefully after 5 years.... summer 2016
The Wreck of the Richard & Charlene and Poogan's Porch are two great places in Charleston. How did Bourdain overlook these? He's going to wannabe places.

well idk Yes, I do. but it has additional meanings that are implied, and it's those meanings of which I am speaking. 3rd World country means countries not alligned with NATO, nor the BLOC nations. But it's often assumed they are run down countries, with sub par lifestyles, and that just isn't true.
+kellerr13 You're making up your own definitions. 3rd world country has nothing to do with international alliances. It's based on basic standards of living averages.
commiehater1655 Yes, it's based on basic stnadards of living averages, practices, that's what I meant by it, but that is not what government uses to define it, it's just what a majority of people use to define it.
@billmurray thank you sir for the save. The south is a terrible disgusting racist place. You definitely do not want to come here if you are from The north, the Midwest, anywhere.
+matt k yeah, its some kind of cured pork. italian, spanish, etc. And yes, its raw, just cured with salt and or smoke. So you're right, it is raw bacon....kinda.

Southern cuisine: distinctive culture, history and pride of place.
