Gotta say this video made me look at metal g-shocks at even better angle than I previously did before the simple polished metal look with a black strap is such a timeless look. Great video thanks!
The thing I most want to see in watch videos is the watch on the wrist in daylight, not under artificial lighting. This video shows how the watch looks in real-life conditions. Congratulations!
"Daytona is not very legible" that's the kind of honest content I like to hear. I have a sub which I love but find the ceramic too blingy. Would be great to hear you tell us what you don't like about each of your luxury time pieces.
Nice review Doug, which of the metals do you prefer and why? Tried both the GA2100 and the GM2100 and as you say the GM feels so much nicer and fits better than the GA. Just can't find anywhere with the GM5600 to try on.
Thanks TS! I actually prefer the GM5600 (Square). The metal CasiOak is better looking in my opinion and it has more/better functions, but my near eyesight is starting to lessen (getting older 😳) and the GM5600 is so legible. The little digital screen and day indicator at 9:00 on the CasiOak are sometimes difficult for me to read.
Hi Royals, thanks for your question. All of them are thinner compared to most G-Shocks. The heaviest and bulkiest would be the square, metal GM5600. And the lightest and thinnest would be the plastic, CasiOak GA2100.
that's a pretty interesting video. ya know what, b/c it's "real life". Buried is the "Daytona is not very legible" comment. Yeah, I "want" a Daytona too, but a TON of chronos are not-very-legible, so... I see the point. The comparison b/tw the Casios is the most interesting topic. Metal or not metal, Gray- or Black- plastic G-Shock.. .... 𝘢𝘯𝘺𝘸𝘢𝘺. p.s. the square doesn't have a second time zone?!?! who needs a digital w/o a second time zone then! ;-)

Hey DoomGuy! I'm glad the video helped!

I was on the prowl for the silver GM2100 but your videos sealed the deal. Absolutely amazing wrist shots. Just ordered literally minutes ago.
Congrats Vic! I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine. :)
The metal G-Shocks are incredibly stylish and as durable as you can find.
I completely agree! Thanks for your comment 😁
Those G Shocks looks super cool
They really are nice ... if you are considering one, get it :)
You got both the watches am eyeing for , will buy them soon looks value for money
Hey Top X, in actually giving away this one if you are interested in entering th-cam.com/video/Aoc0jxv4_7E/w-d-xo.htmlsi=HQbPD21ZTUD7Jxrj

I am thinking of a SOTC video to do just that ;)

Thank you Bram!
Doug, can you tell us where you got the travel 3 watch case from?
Hi F00fightrs, it is a Bosphorus Case. I reviewed it here: th-cam.com/video/D4TKDXK5oKo/w-d-xo.htmlsi=uaQUnpAEXaRZlHrV
I wonder if the GA2110 lcd fits in the GM2110.
Hi Gabenhood! I would think they share the same module.

I wist it had saphire glass instead of mineral
Hi Raphial, yes that would make it even better!
which one is bulky feel , am from india i would like to buy

The square one. BTW do they share the same textured straps?
Unfortunately, the strap is smooth and not textured … That would definitely make it even nicer!
Good to see a video from you Doug! Do you shoot your videos on iPhone? You must have the steadiest hand. Cheers!
Hi Sergiors, thanks for your nice comment. And, yes, I just use my iPhone 13 pro max.
What are those sunglasses?
they are the rayban new wayfarer
Henrique is correct.
