In the daytime, above Hair of the Dog is Breakfast Story, a great place for very nice breakfast and coffee.
I've ate at several Breakfast Story locations around town. Good food
These simple walks through different parts of Bangkok are so interesting and valuable, Joe. The city always surprises me with how mellow it is. I'm sure certain areas get crazy at night, but much of it is traquil and cool. Thanks for another terrific video!

At 7:55 is the restaurant you point out, and it is really good food. The price is very reasonable, and the two guys who are usually there are very friendly. It is definitely worth a visit.

You're really not providing any useful information. Mostly you are just pointing and naming places, and more often you are misrepresenting places. No offense, but this video is inaccurate fluff.
I like Joe’s videos because of the randomness actually. It gives a different perspective than the other videos of BKK.

Sorry you feel that way. No offense taken. It's just a walking tour of the street. Not sure what you expected (non-fluff wise). I point out some places to eat, condos, etc.. I'm not sure anyone cares when I say "I think it's a karaoke place or a Japanese snack bar" At some point in both places, someone will be singing Hotel California. I lived in Japan, not sure I know the difference to this day. It seems like it upset you because it was your buddies place? I'm just a guy who has visited Thailand since the 80's in the military and finally moved over a year ago. Just walking around dozens of streets and seeing what's around. That's all. I think you'll find most of my comments, "I think" this place is etc... This is TH-cam not the BBC. Maybe another person is thinking about living in that area. These walks might help check out the neighborhood. Maybe I can't point out the name of the Mamasan at each bar, or what you might think is useful? But, I'd be the first one to check out any video you'd like to make. Come on Zed, show us some of that useful information. Your comment, "Breakfast Story has good breakfast and coffee." That's TH-cam gold my man. Very useful and exciting comment. And what you said about the two guys having nice food at 7:55, it left me spellbound. The opposite of fluff. I'm sure your video will light the internet on fire.

He is simply showing many new people who never been to Bangkok what it is like. I enjoy seeing the sites again even though I was there years ago. It's nice to see some of the changes. It is also interesting to see possible condos to look into and what soi they are on. 😀😀
