I was married 7 years with a Thai. Had a kid, built a house, car and did everything right but one fine day she just decided to call it off and go with a man from Finland twice her age just because he spends more. I lost everything because the law is biased and lawyers are parasites that suck up everything one has. I'm still here fighting for my kid although I'm no more in my best financial situation condition. I take every chance to tell my kid that I'm still here for her although I'm going thru parental alienation. I live in a one bedroom accomodation most working thais stay in and survive on 100baht a day. So think twice when you wanna get involved with a thai. There are some very rare gems out there still but most are just down to get your money...trust me...i know

1. If you're going into a no strings attached relationship that involves money for intimacy then treat it like a business transaction. Keep the emotions out
2. If you're investing on a woman in Thailand... don't put all your eggs in one basket. Leave a couple out as a safety back up plan if you need to retreat and save yourself out. Only invest on what you're willing to loose.
Take this advice from a man who's lost out on everything and still fighting for his kid. Everything else is gone...

I lived in Chalong Phuket for 4.5 years, if you want to find a "normal " Thai girl, go to school to learn to speak Thai, avoid going to bars with girls, they all talk and if you're known to visit these places, no normal girl will touch you, if you can speak Thai, very easy to chat up a cashier at a supermarket and get dates, I had dates with teachers, doctors, supermarket girl, a shop manager, very easy if you can speak Thai

I'm a Thai guy. I will tell you that older Thai ladies who have more experience in their lives with the age between 30 or more might become a better couples to older Westerners. It's because these ladies know what should they do comparing to younger ladies and many of them are more traditional, good housewife. Don't try to find the ladies in the nightclub. Women are everywhere. Go to the night market or shopping street and talking to the ladies wearing formal dress. Many of them are single and having quite a good job. These ladies are smart and looking for a serious relationship. Be nice to them if you're looking for a good wife. Asian ladies normally look younger than the Western ladies, so you will not regret to date her or attempt to have her as your wife. Be a gentleman, you need to take care of the bills even though some ladies want to share the bills. Since these ladies have their jobs, you don't need to support all of their expenses. Looking for older middle class ladies. After you marry her, both of you can manage your family expenses together because of two sources of income. Similar to the woman anywhere, they are looking for a good husband suitable for them. Many of Thai ladies are looking for older guys, but not too old comparing to her age. The age difference normally about 5-10 years, but it can increase up to 20 years. Higher age gap makes it more difficult to live together due to culture differences. Such problems become more severe when there is language barrier. Thai ladies understand these problems well, so it affects their decision a lot.

Just pay 1000 baht per time (Thai Friendly) and enjoy yourself! Don't throw away 20 to 50k a month on one single girl - what insanity is that? Have 20 to 50 different girls a month - no commitment, no handbags, no sick buffalo in Isaan to feed - just bean-blowing fun then a good night's sleep - make sure you kick her out after the bean-blow, otherwise you'll never get rid.

Don’t think you put it in so many words but basically you are paying for the illusion. The girls will love you, take care of you etc as long as you are willing to pay. Once the money dries up, they are gone. So why not be sensible, meet them casually at first, see if you enjoy being together (whether that is in bed or out). Then set up a regular arrangement where you meet couple of times a month (or week if you prefer). Point is you are paying for the time spent together and nothing else (and as a regular you can haggle for a discount, this is a culture where haggling is the norm). Maybe you even want to spend a night together or an occasional weekend, the basic concept is you pay for the time together leaving the rest of her life to be her responsibility. And you are being realistic about the romantic side. She may grow to actually like you and care about you but it is still a business relationship and as such you pay for her company regardless, that is just common courtesy.
O and someone mentioned about getting a reputation if you go to the go go bars, bar girls etc. well why not go to Pattaya or Bangkok or wherever, play around, get that out of your system and then go somewhere completely different and start afresh. Just a thought.

I lived in Thailand for 2yrs I had a car and toured the whole country. The best girls are away from the tourist areas but then the language barrier is the issue. It's true that there are many older Thai women that are very fit and attractive for their age. The only thing that I would add is the same holds true for a guy and he will have many more options.

Learn Thai, then no language barrier. I higher level of commitment on your part, would lead to higher commitment on their part. You sort of talk about Thai woman like they are a horse you are judging "very fit and attractive for their age". Maybe that is part of your problem!
You nailed it. I am a Thai guy. If you look for a long term relationship, go to North or North East or sometime even Bangkok (some scenarios such as office working environment) . If you look for a short term relationship, go to tourist areas. Keep in mind that this is not a guaranteed. However, if you got the right women, Thai women are very good at housekeeping, cooking and etc. Most of Thai women that get into a relationship with 'Farang' are mostly looking for a reliable couple in both financial and honesty where some Thai guys are lack in those.

It's the same with most Asian countries. The women are more feminine and looking for a husband to provide and look after them and their children. Women in the west tend to live toe to toe with their male counterparts thinking what you can do I can do as well if not better.

This is very true - pretty much what happened to me in Patong. My suggestion would be to avoid paying up -front if you can , because once you've invested a large amount , you feel obliged to pay the next cost they come up with ( hospital bills for the child's accident at school, for example)

Thanks. Genuinely interesting, especially the prices etc. I’m in my 40s, not triggered! Recently, I wandered into a Thai massage parlour in my local town in the UK - for the first time. Ironically, it was a pretty 29 year old who told me she was new, just doing it for a few weeks. Within a couple of dates, it was can I help her start a business, support her. I later found out she was saying the same things to other local men. Gotta hand it to Thai women, they are very focused on their game. Also found out that the other women had large properties and farms with employees back home in Thailand. And they all had latest iPhones!

That's why you don't get involved with bar girls, freelancers, or any of the girls you talked about here. They are from very poor families and their only concern is taking care of them. I met my wife of 14 years at university. She was graduating and I was teaching at another program at the university. We both make about the same amount now (50,000/m each). I used to make over 100,000 a month, but now I'm semi-retired and don't need all that income any more. Don't get involved long term with girls talked about in this video. You will never make enough to take care of them because whatever you give them is gone within days. Get an office worker or a college graduate. My wife is a manager at an American company.
The trouble is most of the guys that are coming here are older and they have no options,,,,, much like the girls they are meeting

I am visiting Thai for some business also and just have to keep my head on straight. At least I will get big smiles in Thailand compared to blunt harsh slavic women. This is the most informtive in depth video on the subject Ive seen. I truly recommend that you write a book or ebook on the subject as your background fits into the information so well. After seeing this I would look for an older woman there about 40s to 50s has a good income and wants to contribute to a relationship or marriage.and above all is not into a superficial mindset. If you could report how it is in other Asian that countries might be more agreeable on all fronts that would be great. I was thinking perhaps Vietnam or Laos Thank you for the video.

I've been coming to Thailand for over 7 years. I've worked in Bangkok for nearly 2 1/2 years. I don't disagree with anything that's stated in this video. It's brutally spot on. Many Farang pack "stupid" in the bag to Thailand just like underwear but there is a cure for "stupid" with a little education like you shared with us. I continue to learn every week here. Have I wasted thousands and thousands of baht (almost each month) ? Yes, certainly. Am I smarter than I was in 2015? I sure am. Am I still enamored by Thai girls ? WIthout a doubt I am. Will I get over that anytime soon? I hope not ... 555. Just be smart guys. And be fair and honest. There is absolutely no reason not to be brutally honest with these girls. They are quite street smart and certainly not stupid in the same sense we are. You won't hurt their feelings and if they pretend you do, you didn't need them anyway. What you get from these girls is not true affection. You never will because you are not family, their family is elsewhere. The sooner you learn that the better life will be for you. So in conclusion, you don't have to stop seeing Thai girls or stop paying Thai girls just remember you need to stop thinking they may actually love you in return. Maybe they honor you to some extent because you chose to help them but "love you" and truly place you above others? Never. If you get what you want and she gets what she wants and you are clear with each other, life is good. There is definitely opportunity for that mutual benefit and satisfaction to occur. Hey.... Please share the video about the perils of investing in a Thai house or Thai investment in any form. That's stupidity squared !!! [uhhh.... I've done that too !! shh..]

Mostly true, I always tell guys to go to Thailand with only a few bucks and see how much they really like you.
But in Western countries, you're paying for it too. Especially if you get married... you're liable to lose everything. Still, there are some genuine girls there, but if they speak English well and you meet in a tourist hotspot, it's likely she's been doing these love scams for a while.

I was told public displays of affection are kind of frowned upon, so is it the same with sexuality? It would be great to get the opinion of some Thai women, if possible...

First trip to Pattaya I met a young british guy at a bar soi 7. He met a Thai girl at uni in england, married her and moved to Hua Hin to start a landscaping business.
He moaned all night about how much he regretted it. Surrounded by pretty and easy girls he soon tired of his Thai wife. Business wise his customers didnt want to pay for services rendered.

Men are thinking with their second head if they are having a kept woman. I've lived in Thailand for many years and the relationships I've seen last any length of time are based on love not money. Pay a Thai woman to live with you and in the end the guy will lose the girl and his money. There are loads of Thai women who are holding well paying jobs and are searching for Mr. Right. My gf has never asked me for a single baht and for that reason alone I would treat her to whatever she wants....her response to me? Too expensive 😲

My neighbor did the same thing but married the girl brought her to USA now he has to pay for not just her but her whole family back home plus boxes of goods sent back to her family every month and they have large families .

I was dating Thai women for one week,I just pay the dinner and we went for a weekend from Chiang Mai to Chiang Dao.She started to talk how her brother is sick and in hospital,then she said how there is nice piece of land on her property. and I did not react then she show me a photo of coffee bar and small hotel and I did not bite.When we came back she dropped me out of the car and the relation was finished.
But farangs have to know even Thai man has to pay for the house and a bit for her family.

Just found your channel and I absolutely laughed my ass off watching this video. Owe you a beer for sure! I'm 52 and plan on getting there in the next year or so depending on my elderly parents and how well they do or don't do. I'm in shape and have always worked out, also decent looking and have no problem getting attractive women here in the U.S. I agree with you on the 20 yr olds as it looks ridiculous in public. The old saying for men is half your age plus 7 yrs at a minimum. So that would be 33ish for me and I've seen some amazing women in their mid 30's and up on Thai Friendly.

This is an honest account and lines up with what I’ve found. However, I have been with a Thai gal for about 5 years now and have supported her monthly here in Chiang Mai. I met her within a couple of days of being here at a hotel she was cooking at. If she made more money than I, I wouldn’t be paying anything but the fact is, though she now owns her own food booth, she would be barely scraping by without my help. When I met her she had only two changes of clothes though she previously owned her own fairly successful brick and mortar restaurant for 5 years prior. She is a talented vegan chef. I am happy to help make her life better financially as she does mine with being a friend, team mate, confidante, lover, cultural guide, partner etc. It just works for us. I pay her 30,000 baht a month and she gets lunch when we are out and about, half the time. In the past with my previous relationship in the states, I took care of most of the bills as well, as I made more money. No big deal. Ps. She is 37 I’m 61. We get along great. Ps. Though I am fit and have a healthy sex drive, hers is higher. She helps keeps me in shape! Ha.
And quite honestly you don't mind helping someone who works so hard but let's face it if you're just paying some girl so that she's not going to the bar she's not working in a massage parlor or turning tricks that's really hard it sounds like you're in an honest relationship where you care about this person and she cares about you.....

Does anyone know how Colombia compares to Thailand for this whole situation. Is the 'market' the same? Are there this many freelancers roaming the street or is it all in bars or special houses over there? Is it the same that you have to pay a girlfriend a salary or is it more westernised there and they are loyal if you are 'a couple'?
Here in Thailand there's freelancers everywhere when you're in the tourist areas even the girls that work in the restaurants work in the hotels and stuff they do freelancing on the side.
I'm honestly not sure how it compares to Columbia hopefully one of my viewers will be able to expand on that but I have no idea myself personally.
As far as loyalty there is absolutely no such thing here unless you're going up into the provinces and you're finding someone in your own age bracket and you're developing a real honest relationship with them other than that if you're paying someone the only loyalty they have is to how many dollars you have.
Believe me if someone comes along that's got more money than you doesn't matter what they look like doesn't matter how stupid they are how rude they are or anything as long as they have more money than you you're done son.

Most of the hotels will get the girls to leave some ID at the front desk you're always best if you're taking a girl home to definitely check her in that way if something goes missing they have her ID....
Very honest & to the point vlog I have been coming to Thailand since 2002 made a few mistakes as we all do but one thing I realise is that why I retire there in September I’m not looking for a Thai girlfriend. I prefer to get it when I want it be respectful to the lady concerned but as a guy in his 60’s I’m realistic I’m looking at ladies 35 & above to share companionship with. A friend of mine travelled often to Thailand.Eventually he found a girlfriend and she travelled over to the West Country to be with him.He bought a bigger house when she wanted to bring her family over ! Poor guy was simply supporting her and her family in Thailand were being kept by him.Family never came ( surprised?) and one day after a few months she told him her brother was very sick and she had to go home to him for a while.Despite all the promises that she would return she filled her wallet and whatever with money and left never to return and there was no further contact!
