Just ate beef liver for the first time in... well i am not sure I have ever eaten it in my life. Shortly after eating the first piece, I felt a ''rush'' coming to my face - in a good way. As if things are happening in my skin and under it, lol. I didn't expect that to happen. I cooked it in fat in the pan with some garlic, pepper and salt. I didn't love the taste but I definitely didn't hate it either so I will continue to eat it weekly, if not twice a week. One thing I noticed is that I didn't feel hungry afterwards, usually I need some type of carbohydrate for me to leave the table satisfied but now i was completely satisified! Definitely going to keep eating it regularly.

Reminds me truly of my closest friends and so awesome to run across someone who is into holistic health and nutrition as much as I am. Hoping to get your advice however on beef liver lol. I enjoy all your recipes as I have eaten many of the same nutrient dense foods for years per completely agreeing is how much better it is to get all our needed nutrients from actual quality food than depending on taking 50 supplements a day as all too many I know like it's a miracle pill to outrun a bad diet/lifestyle. Your cooking method for japanese sweet potatoes is perfection as I have never enjoyed them as much as i do now broiling them and never would have crossed my mind. I was super excited to try your beef liver recipe because in the past I hated organ meats growing up as coming from a European family my grandmother made them all the time and traumatized me randomly finding cows tongue and God knows what else in the kitchen sink as a kid haha. I am not a picky eater in adult life as I really just enjoy clean eating without drowning all in sauce, butter, or processed carbs/sugar. I really dont have sensitivities to much and between ginger, apple cider vinegar and so many things most find gross or unbearable I have had no issues per how long they have been part of my routine so I really wanted to force myself to incorporate beef liver since I agree highly how insanely nutrient dense and healing it is. Not doing the typical oily skillet and onions recipe my family liked I loved the steak glazed type texture that turned out baking it per your approach however the second I start so much as chewing it even before I swallow I become insanely nauseous and get a stomach ache. Reading online I noticed even with quality beef liver supplements which I have tried as well many people are super sensitive to it as it is so rich and have odd reactions trying to stomach it where colonic effects or my symptoms. I had hoped I wouldnt this time around but its just bonkers same story had to have a family member finish the rest of my 2 thin cut livers as I could barely get more than 2 bites in before I started to feel so horrible even though I could easily get past the taste. I'm curious on your thoughts when people react this way and how to work up to it considering I could stomach so little but am so determined to have this in my weekly meal routine per what a powerhouse it is on top of all my fasting I enjoy as well for years. Thank you so much for your thoughts!! 💕💕💕
