My 1st ever COLLAB!!!!! with a huge inspiration, the incredible Sadia from @pickuplimes. Check out the video I did with her on her channel we make some simple 1 pot meals 💫
Two of my favourite vegan TH-camrs together 😊 Great video and super informative. I thought you did video with Rachel Ama another great vegan cook? Can't find it now but that would be another dream Collab! 🥰
@@sarahledbetter7118 Eat like God intended. Adam and Eve ate from the garden of Eden and meat was only allowed as food after the flood when the vegetation had been wiped out by the flood and human longevity dropped from 900+ years from there and it has been downhill since.
Seriously? I can't watch that hair in the food. Also what she says about salt os wrong. She's sure it's not BC she studied regular nutrition. But wrong
@@KentuckyChicken2 I don't know, I think that was the only moment where Sadia cut him off, and it just felt like she was picking up on his thought - which he'd already quite fully expressed - and adding her nutritionist take on it. I'm also quite sensitive to that kind of thing and I interpreted his standing back and folding his arms as him just actively listening to what she was saying because his facial expression was still open when he did that. I think that the traditional body language 'rules' don't always apply because people aren't all the same in that respect. And overall I think they were very respectful of and gracious with each other.
@@KentuckyChicken2 I love it that there's someone else out there as interested in the minutiae as I am :D I haven't seen her vid; I'll have a look asap. I can’t watch the vid right now but I follow both of your channels. IMHO, you two are the male & female version of each other. Your kind, gentle spirits are so much alike. Can’t wait to watch when I have a free minute.
Thank you so so so much for doing the video with the nutritionist. I now have a better understanding how a healthy plate looks like. I usually have just beans, or just a plant base protein, and rarely just vegetables. Now, I going to practice having a balance plate like that.
She is beyond gorgeous. Also obviously smart, so glad she addressed the shortcomings of sea salt and Himalayan salt, which are a huge scam to over charge people for salt.
The quality between salts is VERY noticable. Table is the bargin basement and tastes it. She said food first but ADDING iodine to salt is no different than using a supplement.
@@alexiswinter7056 well, there is a difference between the two. While ading iodine in table salt, the percentage is specified by the government and food agencies, so you get the correct amount in your diet. But if you take direct supplements, either in the form of tablets or capsules, there's a good chance you might overdose on the amount, which can prove harmful to your health.
@@alexiswinter7056 I'm sure if you were given a blind taste test you couldn't tell the difference between two dishes prepared with table salt or sea salt.
@@JRP3 I can; I'm a trained cook. Sea salt is more mineral rich, and this is a subtle but discernible distinction. I'm from the so-called "Goiter Belt," and iodized salt supplementation was an early 20th century solution to farming on inland soil. We are still farming archaically, so iodine-infused table salt is still necessary. But for anyone that can, eat sea veg for iodine.
@@tamcon72 I doubt you could tell in a blind taste test. Sea salt is about 85% sodium chloride, the other 15% is made up of about 80 other trace minerals, some of them radioactive, some poisonous, but such small amounts they have no effect. No way the tiny amount of salt used in a dish and diluted by all the other ingredients would taste any different.
I love the professional mutual respect between these two. Its so relaxing to watch two open people have an exchange of knowledge. Their awkward courteousness and politeness was strangely comforting. Anyhow, what i'm trying to say, so cute :)
