@@rrassoc the fitment on Amazon doesn’t include the 944 because it’s just not in the data base, but your 89 has the same taillights as my 86. The best way to reference the proper bulbs is with the numbers. The original filament bulbs would have been 7506, so anything that’s compatible with 7506 sockets such as 1156 should be okay.

Also it’s a good idea to mention using that empty socket in the tail light to give even MORE brightness…👍👍
