Haldol is a knock out drug correct? Not too much difference from general anesthesia really? Could be a little overkill

Haloperidol is a "classical antipsychotic" medication; nothing like anesthesia. But does make people sleepy, which adds to it's ability to tolerate or even break an episode

I suggest this syndrome could possibly be from a defect in the enzyme responsible for degradation of endo and exogenous cannabinoids it’s called fatty acid amide hydrolase or FAAH ! Theoretically an enzymatic dysfunction in FAAH would cause an excess in all cannabinoids that would have prolonged effect and possibly biphasic effect on emesis! I have no proof of this but dysfunction in enzyme systems are common and become the limiting step in an enzyme cascade! 😮

FAAH does not breakdown THC.... but it is a component of the ECS... And i would postulate that it is indeed a dysregulation of the ECS but not specifically FAAH (but multi-component)
