    I think this is one of the best pitches thus far. Been in the industry for a year in Arizona its a little similar to mine, love it.

    I’m in the middle of my shift and I was wondering What do you do if they hear out the pitch and says “eehhh, not interested” or they turn to walk away... how do I keep them interested? Especially if they could care less about saving money and receiving that federal tax credit, what else could I say to maybe change their minds??

      The thing I feel about setting is...u gotta be super indifferent. Just gotta knock a lot of doors. Shoot for 100 and follow this pitch and professionalism. Haven't knocked solar but I knocked pest and currently knocking year round selling fiber internet and cable

      Sorry it’s taken so long to reply. I don’t check this much. I’m different than a lot of other people in this respect. I rarely overcome objections. If they’re not interested I just move on.

      Maybe don’t try to push people into a bad decision? I WISH I would have just said not interested. I have a solar payment along with still having a power bill… the guy was new and they built my system to small even though the reassured me that I would not have a power bill anymore but that would be replaced by my solar payment. Just the worst decision.

      @@kylesalmon31 umm...except the power that you do generate from solar, you're still paying less per kW, right? So regardless of the fact you're paying two bills, the total cost should still be cheaper.
      Unless you got hosed and the price/kWhr from solar you agreed to is more than it was from your power company...in which case, you just got scammed.

      @@jonathanfelso the last few months my power bill has been over 100 dollars.. it keeps having an issues where a breaker or something flips,idk about it and the panels aren’t producing and it’s always in summer. I’m past the two year warranty so it’s costing us like 150 bucks for them to send someone out to see what’s wrong with it. I absolutely hate these panels.

      Depending on the market he says he’s in Oregon as of then. Everyone pays into programs that their utility providers create every month to create a pool of money that enables people to go solar at “no cost” even tho they’ve been paying for it already

    Your pitch is super solid. I been setting in southern California for 2 weeks now. If the homeowner uses the roof is old as an objection what do you tell them? Thank you.

      Find a roof guy around you that does good business. Tell them that you will give them business and pitch them solar and make sure they really understands how it works. Now you have something to tell people when they need a new roof and your roof guy is developing leads.

      @@faithandpractice i actually got my answer from my boss. I let the negative be a positive. I let them know the 26% tax credit goes toward the roof too if they replace or fix it with the intent of getting solar. I sold thus guy in laguna niguel a 20k system and a 20k roof and wrapped into 1 payment. Thank you so much for your channel, it really helped me to get started.

      @@Bandobenz18 Do not work there. Do not. You will absolutely waste your time. No one wants the solar panels, and honestly, they shouldn't. If they could install themselves, then sure... do it. Blue Raven is a scam company using its sales reps as slave labor. I honestly could explain the whole situation for hours, but the simple fact is DO NOT waste your time. If you want a good door to door sales position with a decent base and high potential go look for a Spectrum Direct Sales Rep position. I'm with that company now and I'm very happy. The commission structure is real. I was with Blue Raven for 6 months. It nearly drove me into the poor house. I've been with Spectrum for 3 months, and I'm just now getting my finances back in order. I'm crushing it with Spectrum. Should have a commission check this month of around $4-$5000. I know that's not a huge number, but I'm just getting started and I get salary on top of that commission. It's also selling good quality products everyone has or needs for prices that are almost always better than the competition. A guy on my team is well on pace for $200k this year. No one at Blue Raven outside of a few select areas is making that and even if they did, Blue Raven can fire them at anytime for no reason at all.

    What do you do if after 5 minutes Pitch you find out the person isn't the homeowner? How many renters or family members you find every day?

      U should have an app that tells you the name of the home owner. Or simply ask them Hey are U the home owner? Before you start your pitch.

      @@dirtrichdustin4372 LandGlide/ SalesRabbit / Prospect+ . It will tell you the name on the title of the home your at. So when you knock and they answer you can simply say Hello Mr/Mrs_______? Makes it look like you’re there for a more serious reason and draws their attention. If they ask why/how you have their name “ I was sent out to this area to speak with a list of homeowners that may be eligible for this program”

      Indeed. I've tweaked it a word or two but it's the same for the most part. To stay away from using the name of the utility I say, "hi I'm out here working with the utilities, with the net metering program. Having you seen that information in your electric bill yet? The net metering program?"

    Why do you lie and say you work with the utility company when you don’t? They’re the competitors. In my area the power company sent out letters to all homeowners warning about people coming by saying they work with them.

    NO ! This dude is a LIAR ! We are NOT utility workers; we do NOT work with the utility companies. We are literally working AGAINST them ! We are literally their COMPETITION ! THE UTILITY COMPANIES ARE NOT THE ONES INCENTIVIZING HOMEOWNERS TO GO SOLAR! Why would the do that? That would lose them business! We are NOT just "dropping off reports", we are selling solar for God's Sake ! OWN IT ! If you are able to set a lot of appointments with a pitch like this, it doesn't matter, because THESE APPOINTMENTS WILL HAVE A LOW CLOSE RATE, due to the fact that you lied to the customer a million times at the door ! Besides that, this is exactly what creates distrust in the community. This is exactly the WRONG WAY TO DO IT and precisely what is MAKING IT SO MUCH HARDER FOR EVERYONE ELSE ! DO NOT DO IT LIKE THIS ! DO NOT RUN AROUND LYING TO EVERYONE ABOUT EVERY PART OF THE PROCESS ! THIS IS WRONG !

      He didn't say he was working for utilities but working with utilities. It is the utilities "net metering program." It is just information as a setter. You are just finding a time for when someone can explain the program, whether they qualify, how much they would save and if they did want to participate then they can but only if it makes financial sense to them. If they don't qualify ie like he said too much shade, not enough electric usage then it stops right there but for those that qualify it is the better option every single time.
