- This video shows how Chandler got the capital to buy more than $10 million worth of real estate! He shows you the day in the life of a door-to-door salesman and also shares the stories/experiences of many of his sales reps and their success.
Chandler David Smith has been investing in real estate for the last 7+ years. He currently owns 99 doors of rental real estate and cash flows hundreds of thousands of dollars from that real estate. One of the big questions that Chandler always gets asked is how he was able to afford so much real estate in his 20s. Chandler always responds that he acquired that money through knocking doors and selling pest control. Many people have a hard time understanding or believing that this is where Chandler required the capital to create such a large real estate portfolio but in this video you can see firsthand Chandler‘s experience on the doors. Ummm....Are you saying that you are not supposed to knock those doors?...I always considered them like. The first objection. I mean....What is the worst that could happen?. They tell me no in meaner tone and ask me if I can read? I usually tell them "No!" when they ask me that anyway.. I dont want to give all my trade secrets away, but I'ts been my experience that the people who put those signs out, are the ones that can't seem to prevent themselves from buying from people who knock on their door. So to me its like...A porchlight to a moth...lol
Only real ones knock "Please do not ring doorbell, baby sleeping" or "We charge $50 a minute to listen to salesman and Bible thumpers"
I’ve been super shy my whole life. I just knocked on my first door today. It took a while to build up the courage, but it felt pretty damn good once I did it. The key to success is to start before you’re ready.

@@jinojikitomo5065 no, i stopped a couple months ago, but the time i did it for drastically helped my social skills. Im at a better place in my life than ever. Dont give up. Its really hard at first but its totally worth it.

I knock about 100+ doors a day Monday-Friday. I bonus out commission every week. Most people will say no, all I need is one person in the whole neighborhood to say yes and it’s a W.

@@thembelihlemasina3018 UPDATE, I’m using adam bensmans strategy with the multi touch marketing angle and it works much better. Knocking doors is great but warming the neighborhood up is much much better.

When I grow up I want to be just like you
I’m a reporter for my local news station here in New Zealand. I did two sales seasons in Utah summers of 17 and 18. It was by far the most beneficial job I’ve ever had! It strips you down to the core! Exposes your mental weaknesses, and in so doing allows you to grow! Each and every day is challenge! I use so many sales skills and principles in my day to day work as a journalist too, when I’m interviewing , finding stories, and even doing live crosses. I might even do another summer if I leave my full time position and become a contractor. We’ll see.

It feels so good to make a sale. To make it, you really have to connect with the customer. They won’t sign up, just on the service. The customer is always smiling when you leave and that’s how it should be. That has been my favorite part of my business. Connecting with customers. Going into, this summer with aptive, I think it is going to be my ‘why’.

I’ve been a Door to Door rep through Ambia Solar which is a company aptive is actually under from pest control! Door to door can change your life long as you are consistent with it and don’t stop. It’s always opportunity out there no matter where you’re at!

Chandler you need to put out a book or course on how to overcome rejection. As a cash buyer many sellers reject your offer, so knowing how to overcome those rejections would be worth their weight in gold.

I sold door to door for three years for my power comoany. It was hard and it taught me so much. I barely made 45/year!! This really is the best option for cash and investing in your future. @@probrickgamer people only solicit door to door because they can’t deliver sales. The majority of canvassing leads are garbage and companies that use this approach have issues with high turnover of sales reps unless the company has multiple confirmations from these leads because reps waste half their day chasing cold appointments when they can make twice the money with a company that knows how to generate quality appointments. All around, door knocking is a waste of time and money for everyone. There’s always the exceptions but in general in 2021 it’s an irrelevant strategy

That's exactly how I started. It's good money. It's actually pretty easy compared to what I sell now.
I would suggest an electric scooter of some sort to get to the next door quicker since it can be a numbers game ;-) love how positive you are and the smiles your obtaining while working!

I couldn’t believe the things he was telling me, it was like destiny the universal must’ve lined this up I had no idea about this and this video pops up. The way you stay positive is understanding the number of no's before you get to a yes. As a man we have all been rejected by women in our lives and always accepted. Guaranteed most of us have had around 30-50 approaches, and gotten a date from atleast 10 of those approaches. A 1 in 5 chance. Every No gets you one step closer to that yes!
