You've got to be kidding me! This is fantastic! Everyone! Instruments, vocals, production....and that lead guitar! Carlos Santana would be proud! I hope he's seen it!
As a man of God these kids are unbelievable . Just look at the joy on their faces . amazing performance. The Almighty would have been foot tapping with a grin all across his face. Take a bow young musicians you deserve it. May God keep you all safe.
When I first clicked on this, I wasn't sure how it was going to go, because they are "little kids". 5 seconds into it... I'm blown away! Great job, very impressive for this age group.Keyboard solo great! Guitars, percussion, vocals all awesome. Happy day!😊
He amazes me everytime I watch this. Can someone check inside his mouth at +/- 0:25, does he have a tongue piercing? The scene goes by very very fast. Doesn't take away his talent, just makes him very cool ;-)
I am so impressed & encouraged by these students/performers. I am a musician and music instructor, and I'm so uplifted when my students give a perfect performance at a recital. The stress and tension of performing for an audience or for recording equipment & cameras can be immense. BRAVO! To all of you!!
Haters GO AWAY !!! These young men and women are to be saluted for their capabilities and what the give back to their audience. If you don’t like something - move on... Constructive criticism always welcomed I’m sure but hating just to hate - just GO AWAY !!!
Pure WOW! I've seen Santana live 10 times since 1975, but I just wanted to say this guitar player here is so good. I also play guitar and this kid can play, he is smoking on this song. Amazed!!!
10 times! Wow! I first saw them in 1973, Auckland Civic Theatre - and you could not find a better venue for Santana. Go find some of the photos - mind-blowing place for mind-blowing music!!
@@GedMaybury23 Ok I'll search for the Auckland place. I still remember one of the first times that I heard Santana, it was Evil Ways. I must have been 8 or 9. OMG, I was dancing and just grooving! After that, all I wanted was to get a guitar and play like Carlos!! He is da man!!
A classic song that I still love 53 years later. Language is no barrier to a classic song. These kids don't look to be anymore than 11 to 13 years old at the most but they nailed this one big time. Amazing talent.
They are 9yo-12yo, most 10/11yo. The keyboard player is 9yo. I like the big smile on her face just before her solo. The description says this was there first time in a studio! They're so good, I pop back now and then to listen. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎅🎉 ☮
I've been returning to re-watch for years. I love the keyboardist's grin as her solo is about to start too. Wonderful. I hope she's still enjoying making music. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. 🎅🎉 ☮
Aside from the fact that the lead guitarist and keyboard player are fantastic, the band is terrific. Love this video. . This not an easy song to cover and they killed it !!!!!!!!!!!!
Terrific! Thanks, kids. You're excellent musicians and vocalists, and you bring new life to an old standard. I always like listening to the School of Rock!
Encourage and nurture talent like this, don’t discourage and criticise - nothing in life is achieved by negativity. Great version and they enjoyed it. Enough said.
Great to see there are still kids nowadays that appreciate and are able to make real music. And with instruments instead of computers. So there is still hope for the future! Great job guys👍 Compliments and greetz from a 63 y/o drummer from Holland
What kind of loser gives this a thumbs down? These kids are very young, pre teen and they are killing it. Amazing. I was in bands for years and we didnt sound this good sometimes. The lead guitar is damn good.
REALLY impressed with this group of kids! I wish I could have been playing Rock at 11 or so, but I was stuck with a cello and 8 notes with 'Canon in D'. I started Guitar 2 years later, and Bass a year after that, but these kids are already better than when I was at my peak at 21!
This makes me so happy and gives me hope seeing these younger kids playing good music instead of the over saturated crap we hear All the time in the mainstream Rock on 🤘
This was a wonderful performance. Keep it up kids!! And for those commenting on enthusiasm issues - they are kids not professional musicians! they react differently than adults, especially when performing in an unfamiliar studio for the first time ever - I would bet many adults would react the same way if this was their first time in a studio as well - the fact that they could play so well despite the nerves is a huge thing. Great performance again! Hope to see more!!
That was awesome I am a musician over 40 years and a Audio Engineer I can see the passion in these kids and there having fun I would love to see these kids backing Santana with this song that would be Epic
i grew up listening to this because my dad would put it on, I'm 30 and absolutely love this song still and he was in a Santana covers band and some of the members were not THIS good , this has blown me away
These kids are amazing, There is a lot going on in that song whoever their teacher is kudos. Carlos Santana would be very proud, Tears of joy thank you🙂🙂🙂✌️✌️✌️
What an EXCELLENT way for these youngsters to enjoy the benefits of TEAMWORK. The fine playing aside, there's no way such a thing gets pulled off without everybody doing their part. It's why I've always been so glad to have learned some music when young.
Wow! I really enjoyed this! There is no fear of us running out of good music makers. To see young people interested in this kind of music is heart warming,
People in the comments keep saying the look bored and stuff but no. The kids are having fun and being passionate about this and I’m saying I can see it when they all start dancing and yes they’re smiling often. Also they keep straight faces cause they are most likely concentrated on playing their instruments or singing. And these kids are young and don’t deserve to be criticized at, THEY HAVE EXTREMELY GOOD TALENT!!
En Colombia decimos "Impresionante" me quedo sin palabras, al ver tocar a estos niños en especial al guitarrista y qué decir de la niña que interpreta el teclado. " Excelente señores de la Escuela del Rock !!!
I have two daughters (ages 6 & 10) and if I would ever see them take part in something as wonderful as this, i would be the proudest dad on the face of the planet ! These kids are amazing 🙂👍🏻
Your kids might have hidden talents. Ask them if they would like to learn to sing or play musical instruments. There might be a School Of Rock near you. They are at the perfect age to start learning music.
Awesome and outstanding performance by these "kids." Sure beats Camptown Races which was one of the first songs on learned on guitar. Organist and guitarist killed it on their solos but they all were all super. I guess these are amongst the best students they have. Impressive that this school pumps out kids that can learn this rock music and play instruments rather than playing loops on a computer and thinking, "Hey I am a musician." Again, awesome- coming from a guy who has played 50 years and done a couple of albums.
Insecure and then confidence what their teacher learned them!! It is a incredible achievement ! They are young artists! Keep up the good work boys and girls. You are the new gold for the future!!!
Waaoo! Estoy impresionada 🤩 muy bien cordinados ya son expertos en tocar instrumentos a la perfección,,Santana estaría feliz de escucharlos.. aplausos para todos ustedes.. Felicidades 👏👏👏👏👏 jovencitos @s.. Bravo desde México 🇲🇽✌️🎸🙋🏻♀️
Awesome job. Not many kids their age spend the amount of times it takes to master their instrument. I've been a musician for over 50 years. You guys nailed it. Keep it up.
This is just so darling! They really kicked ass on this song. It's heartwarming to see 9 or 10 year olds doing adult things but still being kids. They're doing their best to dance like they've seen on TV but their little bodies are not quite agile enough. I've watched this many times and it's just so cute. Love those back-up singers. Reminds me of my own kids when they were that age.
This was a great version of a masterful song... If you close your eyes and just listen,. Sounds very similar to Santana live... It's a great song everyone has fun. Props to the young people playing at his level. * Clapping *
This is awesome!!!! Who would think that kids this young could play Santana this flawlessly!!!! I struggled with the lead guitar part for "Black Magic Woman" when I was 20.
Very impressive! You can see the intensity of the effort in their faces. I am sure they were all smiles after this performance; I wish this video included that part too.
Expressions on faces cracked me up. Gal on the keyboard looked like she was having fun. The others looked like, "My mother is making me do this because of the C I got in science class". Including the gal doing the killer guitar riffs. Impressed w the performance.
You've got to be kidding me! This is fantastic! Everyone! Instruments, vocals, production....and that lead guitar! Carlos Santana would be proud! I hope he's seen it!
What is this? A prodigies show? OMGGGG!! Each kids performed like a professional!! Oh Boy!!!
WOW!!!!!!!!!!!! A lot of raw talent and hard work are displayed here! Kudos for not abusing the voices of these young vocalists!
These kids are incredible. I have never seen such coordination and musicianship that early in life
I can only imagine what these kids become when they grow up. Wish I had programs like this at their age.

The bandana guitarist kills, couldn't imagine being that small with a full-size guitar

Absolutely love this video. These kid sounded so great. The lead guitarist and girl on keyboards just killed it!!!!!!
The bassist is great too. Holding down the groove deep in the pocket. Nice!
Lead guitarist is all grown up now.😢 he traded the guitar for a vape and a marketing degree. So sad to she icarus get his wings burned.😢
Just caught the lead guitarist doing galaxy gas in the bathroom of our local community college😢😢
