Great video, interesting with the GPS I can see it makes life a little easier! We used to burn 600 acres of stubble in almost one go! I don't think we even had to plough in 25 acre fire breaks back then, we would then pressure harrow the whole prairie field in 9 hours, as it smouldered, with a big John Deere 8440, just working the top 4 inches only, it made a good seed bed. The farmer avoided ploughing. After they banned stubble burning he ploughed every year with a big Caterpillar on rubber tracks using a 13 furrow plough. It was quite a rig. Stubble burning was a great steriliser, he never had black grass but I remember he did spray a lot too. He farmed 2500 acres. They now use a Sumo for cultivation behind a 500 he Caterpillar. Great videos really enjoy watching them!
Great video it’s very interesting how much set up there is but I agree it’s worth it when it all works correctly! Can’t wait to see more as it’s getting nicer out
Fantastic video, excellent filming - wow drone footage, and just great editing, what more can one say!! You are no longer “just” a tractor driver George, you’re a computer wizard as well, all that setting up process, goodness me it’s so involved! Thanks for producing such an interesting and informative video.
By the time you've finished playing with computers George, I'd have had the job done with my old Nuffield and a tool bar......as if LOL. Mind you, if I'd tried to fly a drone and do that as well, I'd crash it. Hope you've enjoyed the summer Mate (grin).
No bother atall to the fastrac and im not suprised, hopefully you can get the V form on the tw again with her new shoes on and if you can find some more weight for her to give her a workout tis a pleasant sight
you made that GFX-750 setup look easy George, just had one installed a couple of weeks ago & its a diff interface slightly over yours ?? unsure why?? Still trying to get mine right when using the 3m combi drill. Ya JCB go's well mind
Hey George. Im in the market of purchasing a jcb fastrac. Ill have to import it from the UK as we dont get them here in South Africa. What would your advise be looking at a used one? Rather go for the 4220 or would a 4160 be good. 90% of the time it will run a fert spreader. Total weight around 4700kg. Next year pull a planter but hp will be fine.

nice video I love jcb
I used to live in Felmersham.
Doesn’t the steering wheel being upside down for the wheels being straight sometimes annoy you ?
Great video George you have some amazing camera kit makes my GoPro and iPhone setup look bad haha
Cheers, a lot of it is what you do in editing.
George Saunders yeah mate totally agree but I can’t do a lot with windows movie maker haha but I try to do my best
Subsoiling already ploughed soil?
Yes, I don't get that either :-/
How many acres is that field?
Was this the field you were in in your first ploughing videeo with the john deere?
doug noble Well spotted!
Great video George. I think I prefer the John Deere guidance personally. How much you running in the tyres?
Farmer Joe cheers Joe, 16psi
George Saunders Not bad then really considering the weight and size of tyre.
Thumbs up 👍
What size tyres do you run it on?
great vid
do you use your stuff everyday
Where are you based looks familiar
Why are cars allowed to park on narrow roads ?
To complicated for me, but nice video anyway!!
Why such a little cultivator on a big tractor?
JNLN The cultivator works deep, hence it requires a fairly large tractor
George Saunders ah ok
What does the GPS do
kevin lambert It steers the tractor for you
2:20 i heard that xDD
Can you give me a shoutout pls as your my favourite TH-camr great vid as always
