Women subconsciously want to earn those romantic gestures. Him doing those things on a first date means he’s just using romance as a performance. What’s really romantic is buying flowers and opening doors for the woman who’s been with you thru the struggle over the years and raised your kids. Doing it for a woman you don’t even really know is just performing.

This is the phase everythin they disliked previously, they now love. All the qualities the nice guy God brings. Is genuinely what they “grow” to love. This is the stage they at least recognize maturity is setting in.
Ik this to be true bcuz when they are at their best face & body wise. What do they say? “I don’t wanna be tied down.” Translation “I don’t want to be in a committed relationship with a God bcuz I’m youthful and have a plethora of options to choose from. Also, I wanna have as much sex with as many Gods as I can.” Again, this applies to most. Not all. They view being in a committed relationship in their youth as a bad thing. In their maturity they view being in a committed relationship as a good thing. Due to their biological clock. And if they still have their peak look even at an older age.
That dude is “corny” because he’s doing things for women that they haven’t even earned. The woman that deserves flowers and expensive restaurants is the woman who’s invested years and time into your relationship and making that man happy. Not just some chick he thinks is pretty.
This is from females who want the man to make a plan. Only to counter that dating experience for something over the top, with the hopes of challenging the other girls in the group chat. All this to let her girls know she wants them to trump her current dating experience. The competition is among women, not men.

No lie when I was single and I was dating out there in NYC/NJ I took this woman out from NYC and I was opening doors for her and stuff (like my momma taught me and I do all the time for women).
