I pray to God my daughter never falls victim to a Rico. Which is why as a woman it is so important to me to be mindful of the example I set forth to my daughter. She will mirror me...my behaviors, my habits, what I tolerate, etc. Although I am a little sad about turning 30 this year, I am thankful for the growth and knowledge I gained in my 20's & I will pass that onto my child.

It's disrespectful of women to have a sense of entitled to anything from a man. It's not just a woman's time, it's also a man's time....and money. A man is already doing more to impress a woman - picking her up, paying for the date, etc.
There’s no problem with a man making less, but if they are making less they have to provide in different ways that will benefit for the both of us and/or our family. There isn’t anything to emasculate if the man is doing his part. Finances don’t determine masculinity, but know if I went from doing everything by myself to having a “man” around and still doing everything by myself… I don’t want it and he will eventually be emasculated under those circumstances. I think the issue is that a lot of men/women in this generation don’t even have true skills to even provide in different ways anymore. I grew up in a dynamic where my father demanded and EARNED his respect. Although, both of my parents worked my dad is the head of the household, leader, provider, and protector. My mother respects him and trust his leadership. He respects her as a wife. Even though he leads they still work as a team. Men and women don’t embody those values anymore. I know first hand how those values work. My parents represented that growing up as well as today.
Today, in most situations… men in this generation are not revealing themselves as leaders and women don’t know how to submit or not willing to submit to egoistic men who think they are worthy of submission, but can’t even slightly embody the characteristics or have the attributes to lead himself yet alone lead a woman and/or a family.

First of all I am a 57 year old blackman raised by my southern grandmother and uncle. And I was raised by both to always be a gentleman ie when picking up a woman you park your car, you ring the bell, you walk down to the car and open the door before during and after the date. It is called being raised as a man of quality, which Ricco and Oliver clearly do not understand but Rashaan does.
And for any woman reading this post you never go out or allow your daughter to go any where near a man who does not understand the basics of dating or treating her the she should be treated as along as she shows said man she is a woman of quality and grace. Oh yes if said woman lives with her parents he better be prepared to sit for awhile and answer some questions from her parents.
On a side note It would be nice if the woman reached over and open the car door for me as the man taking her out but that is a different story. Assuming he get all that I mentioned, one thing that most American women will not put up with is cheating. Society has painted a picture of one man for every woman and one woman for every man. But when you look around it clearly goes against our nature. Yes a man can suppress his desires, but it's not natural. And love has nothing to do with it. Just to add, if we all did just that and coupled with one woman the world would be half populated and alot of woman would be lonely. Due to the ratio of woman to men.
