This is beside the Iloilo Golf and Country club, Asia's oldest golf course The area is a meadow, with gentle rolling hills, very ideal and beautiful. It is similar to the Fort McKinley in Taguig which is also mostly rolling hills. The climate here is cool and relaxing. No pollution because it is uphill, above highway level. So nice. And it is just about 15 to 30 minutes from Iloilo City, but this is part of the METRO ILOILO and easily accessible through the international airport road, then connected to the C1 and Diversion Roads, two of Metro Iloilo's longest and widest highways, with Diversion Road being one of most beautiful roads in the Philippines. The driving us smooth and relaxing and passes through other high-end subdivisions and developments, the vibe is very California and Florida, and the ambiance here in ILOILO City is Spanish-European, typical of ILOILO CITY"s heritage atmosphere and appearance. But what is wonderful here in Iloilo City is that just by crossing the besutiful bridges from the heritage Districts of Jaro, Molo, La Paz, and the City Proper you arrive at a wonderful surprise - the other end of the bridge us the Diversion Road and the Mandurriao District where the scenery and vibe is very modern, with long Esplanades by the clean river, and biking lanes which extend for about 17 kms to the Santa Barbara heights developments. Here at the Diversion Road are the plush malls, hotels, bpo and IT centers, hi-tech hospitals, schools like Ateneo, St Josephs, Iloilo scholastic (a coordinating school of de la salle), and nearby are more schools- the Opus Dei-run Westbridge School ( a brother school of Southridge Alabang), the loilo doctors college, , UP Visayas, John b. Lacson maritime Univ , San Agustin Univ, the Assumption school, St Paul's Univ.- loilo, central phil univ.. All these are accessible to the Santa Barbara heights development in just a few minutes of smooth countryside driving. It's California and Florida in a Philippine setting, here in Metro Iloilo.
