We also don’t have any snow at all. At least not in the Northwestern area of Germany. By the way it would be awesome if you could do a video about the Christmas atmosphere of Riga. I feel like there aren’t many videos about Latvia or Riga on TH-cam. Especially not from the perspective of a native. So that would definitely be interesting. 😄
Mulled wine is red wine seasoned with Christmas spices (cinnamon, cloves and lemon peel, among others) and sugar and then heated. I like all fine bratwursts. They all taste different, depending on the geographical region they come from. And for me as a Berliner, currywurst is "home food". I see the danger of gingerbread in the same way^^
During December, I‘d suggest going to Nuremberg for the Christmas Market. It will be SEVERELY crowded, but their Christmas Market is pretty much the original model for all the other ones. (East Germans will claim the same for Dresden and Leipzig and maybe even Erfurt… but I think they overestimate their cultural significance outside of Eastern Germany…) If you want some commercialized tourist trap version, go to Berlin.

In Southwest we have 2cm. Not much, but a little bit white landscape.
Thank you I will consider this 😉

As a vegetarian I am not into any kind of “Bratwurst” at all. My go to on a German Christmas market is a “Kartoffelpuffer” or Crêpes. 😄

Thank you for advice 😉
There are also vegan Bratwurst offered in Germany, and with mustard on it, there is no big difference to the meat bratwurst.
Would love to try it !
