Lyrics: Troubled in mind, I'm little blue Bet you I won't be blue always 'Cause that ol' sun's gonna shine On Jerry Lee Lewis's back door step someday I'm gonna lay my head On somebody's lonesome railroad line Let that ol' midnight special Ease my troubled mind Well, they tell me that old graveyard Is a mighty lonesome place Lord they put you six feet under Shovellin' mud directly in your face Well, goodbye baby, may God bless you And may He bless ol' Killer a little bit too Oh, don't meet you over yonder, baby When they throw that Jerry right over you Troubled in mind, when I'm little blue Bet you I won't be blue always 'Cause the sun's gonna shine On, on my back door step Some lowdown, lonesome, mother humpin' day
I am 70 now. I have seen almost everything. I just like to say that all our hero's of the past have started out at one time as young talents. So do very many of our young talents of today. And, some of them are so good, they easily could become megastars similar to Willy Nelson and others. In any genre of music. While I like to follow all the great musicians of my time (meaning when I was young), I am also enjoying the young; sometime, they are going to replace us, in any sense of the word. So, give them the change of doing so............
What these gents have in common? All four are rebels and redefined their respective musical genres not only in their music but their outsized personalities. Bravo!
Quite a lot of exceptionally Old school talent to be on a stage together.. Any one of them could pack in an amphitheater full of people by themselves even after all these years......
Backstage at this show you had Merle, Bob, Jerry, Keith, Willie.... UNBELIEVABLE and possibly the last time that amount of greats were in the same place.
This is a great example of where C&W and Blues blur beautifully in a way that reflects the best of the South and it doesn’t matter where one finishes and the other starts. If you’re not sure what I mean, try listening to Key To the Highway after hearing this.

I'm 70 yrs old........in 1964 I was 14 and at a small town ballroom park pavillion in Iowa at a dance with a local band performing and about 2 hrs in they took a break and The killer came in from back stage with his backing band about 1/2 lit up and burned the place down for 2 songs, Great balls of Fire and Whole Lotta Shakin. It was during that period after marrying his 13 yr old cousin and had to take what was available.

Lyrics:
Troubled in mind, I'm little blue
Bet you I won't be blue always
'Cause that ol' sun's gonna shine
On Jerry Lee Lewis's back door step someday
I'm gonna lay my head
On somebody's lonesome railroad line
Let that ol' midnight special
Ease my troubled mind
Well, they tell me that old graveyard
Is a mighty lonesome place
Lord they put you six feet under
Shovellin' mud directly in your face
Well, goodbye baby, may God bless you
And may He bless ol' Killer a little bit too
Oh, don't meet you over yonder, baby
When they throw that Jerry right over you
Troubled in mind, when I'm little blue
Bet you I won't be blue always
'Cause the sun's gonna shine
On, on my back door step
Some lowdown, lonesome, mother humpin' day
Haven't heard these guys do this songsounds good
Your lyrics don't match Jerry Lee Lewis's version
You tell them KILLER
Rock me Killer !!!!!!!
Keith is just like a big kid, smiling & loving every freaking minute, too cool
Keith looked like a kid in a candy store! Love how he loves and respects legends from all music! Good music is good music no matter who you are!
Jerry on piano, Merle with his Stetson hat and Willie with his spanish guitar: the sound of America ! MV
Hopefully, everyone who watches this realizes we will never experience musicians or men like this ever again.
The Killer, JLL. A legend!
Simon Frampton I learned as a young child that you can’t argue or change the mind of an IDIOT, so I have no reply.
@@rickhartline8884 LOVE YOUR "REPLY"!!! SO TRUE!!!! :) LOL!!!

Hell yes!!! Long live Jerry Lee and the rest of them still walking the Earth.
Only problem I have with this is it's too short!! Loved it!!
There have been many entertainers come and go ,but for me Willie stands out in any crowd. Love that man! So talented!
Willie is the only one that I know of who has played with the Trinity, Hank Williams Sr., Ray charles & Bob Dylan
To bad Willie turned Communist! Now just a waste!
You love Willie
@@mccurryburg Are you sure Willie played with Hank Williams Senior?
@@MDavidG1 No

I was really hoping that Keith would sing, too.
This is living proof that genre don’t mean a thing to true artist!
Playing Blues. Country and Rock came from the Blues.
@@mikefannon6994 Jerry Lee Lewis music came from God
The Hag said that there only two kinds of music.................good and bad.

Well put!
Love the quote from Keith, " the rockers got nothing on these guys".
I think I am listening to the wrong school of music. This is another number I don't remember but enjoy listening too. Very fun indeed. Layton Toi.
Merle gave Keith a lesson!
Love it! Great group of men. Love how you can literally put Keith anywhere and he fits right in.
Too cool. Goosebumps.
