Beautiful table! What grit did you sand to before applying the tabletop epoxy? Was there any polishing or just sanding? Thanks! Working on some charcuterie boards that are very similar, but not looking forward to the polishing.
Do you mean clear when I poured it? It was very clear then, but the wood and epoxy levels were not the same. So, you have to flatten the table, sand, then pour a clear coat of table top epoxy. Good question and thanks for stopping by! Subscribe 💪🏼
Hi there Is Liquid epoxy brand name ? Does it have part A and part B together . This is the first time I see someone not mixing Part A and B . In your first pour ( bottom layer ) you did not mix part A & B
The brand name is SuperClear. You can use code MAC5 to get 5% off! I mixed A and B for both. Not sure if I showed it in the video or not. Thanks for watching!
Lovely looking table. The blue with the rocks is really stunning. Well done.

I didn’t do any polishing and sanded to 220 before applying table top.
Thanks for sharing! Maybe a silly question, but why sand and polish it, then add a top coat? It looked clear before the sanding.

Hi there
I have Question!
What does clear epoxy mean by !
Is it Part A & Part B ,without pigment ?
Or Just Part A only
Im confused
Thanks
You mix 2 parts of A (epoxy) with 1 part B (hardener). Then you can throw in whatever pigments you want.
I've seen people use tape or liquid latex to help with drips on the underside.
Yeah, that’s one method. I usually just sand them off because it’s not that difficult with the right equipment!

Can you tell me about your mold.
I made this mold from plywood and tape that doesn’t adhere to epoxy. I use silicone all around it to stop the epoxy from leaking out.
