Just replaced mine today. Ordered a new charge port board, suction cup pliers (for phones/tablets), and new adhesive on Amazon. Followed the steps in this video, and it works like new again!

so you have a 4g model and the one you are looking at 5g charging port..it is better if you can replace the same one..if you can't find it, send a message on info@jstechstore.com.au , we can arrange you a one..
Just had my port replaced but now won't read my Sim card. Took it back to the repair shop and they tried another port but same problem. My Sim card works in other phones though. Tried my wifes sim in my phone, still nothing... Any ideas??
@@DIYGeardo I just woke up to my phone giving me an alert about debris in the charging port, and the USB plug is melted. Is this a known problem with the S20's?

Is the charging cable supposed to make a "click" sound and lock in place on this model? Mine doesn't and the cable is loose and can disconnect easily.

@@scotthemedic this is something serious, you should talk to Samsung about this..the cables & adapters you are using are original?
Looks like the hardest part is getting the back off.
