This is my 2nd time watching this. I'm beginning to understand. I'm sure I'll continue to watch again until I get it. I didn't know any of this
You are a really good teacher. I like your guest host. He's amazing. Thank you for this series.

Todd, as you know that, whenever Zion is built it's never built by one but through the gifts of Spirit that we possess we sanctify the sum. Thank you for paying the price to be a scholar in the gospel and for sharing your incredible gifts and teaching ability to help establish Zion.

This is FANTASTIC! So clear and well supported. THIS is why/how Pres Nelson has said we “are living far beneath our privileges.”!

Fantastic presentation! It definitely gave me a lot to ponder and chew on. As you were going through the presentation I was reflecting on all the talks by President Nelson. Just before he became a prophet he gave a talk on the power of priesthood. And since then talks about hear him, understanding the blessings of the House of Israel. All of these topics are pushing us to prepare us to see the face of god.

Todd, this was a wonderful lesson, everything is flowing together nicely. If this was an introduction, I can’t wait for the meat of the topic. Chance, I’m amazed at your insights and preparation, you truly are a seeker of truth and light. If you continue on your current trajectory, and remain meek and humble, the Lord is going to work many mighty miracles through your service.

Thank you Todd for your prayerful and studious insight! The last few years I’ve become really interested in how did Lehi and Nephi have the priesthood that they obviously had, because the Israelites were given the lesser priesthood and Lehi wasn’t a Levite. Your hard work has answered my prayer in many ways, and I truly rejoice over the knowledge I’m slowly grasping on to. Thank you!

Thanks for the presentation. I always have this agree/disagree relationship with your content. Some stuff frustrates, so it's good for practicing patience and humility. Other stuff is spot on. And I learned something I'll treasure in this one.

Wonderful presentation! I have a question though, where are you getting the idea that the outward ordinences are the lesser priesthood and the spiritual components are the greater? I agree with you and would love to be able to substanciate it better.

Wonderful presentation. I have learned this pattern over the last 5 years. You have a gift of teaching it so that others can understand. I wish I could explain it as well as you. I have some questions. Could you explain the difference between hearing the voice of the Lord (Holy Spirit of Promise) and actually seeing Him. The space in between these two events is where I am looking for more understanding. Do you by chance have an email where I could contact you?

I am enjoying your enlivening conversations. You are talking on a high level in so many topics - and so I am
Confused when you keep referring to “hell” as though we believe in the Calvinist version of afterlife. Keep the high level across all playing fields- esp when it comes to
The beautiful doctrines of “glories “ for all but sons of perdition. Just a thought I keep
    Having . Thanks

In your opinion, since Jacob was stopped from being able to continue higher teachings until the church he led quite the abomination of polygamy (Jacob 2:1-6), do you think we as a church are under that same condemnation? Do you think that Jesus would even take a second look at us at his coming as a church because of the solid belief in polygamy past, present, and future? Because if Jacob wasn’t able to continue his work as a prophet because of the sins of his people who were committing the abomination of polygamy, then wouldn’t we as a church be damned because of our leaders’ practice and teaching of polygamy? It’s one of the most grievous sins according to Jacob.
Joseph (and Hyrum) was pretty much at a standstill in his work because of the teaching and practice of polygamy that had infiltrated the church. It was almost his entire focus from 1842 until his death. He canonized scripture to fight against it, sued people for using his name to practice it, excommunicated people for practicing it, he taught publicly against it, wrote in his journal about it, spoke to family about it, printed against it in newsletters and pamphlets. So if he wasn’t able to continue his work much like Jacob, where does that put us as a church until we repent of the abomination of polygamy past and present in any shape or form? And until then, where does that put us as a church not having the authority that we claim to have?

this has been an incredible series... you have essentially laid outage doctrine of what has always made sense to me but I couldn't point to the doctrine as well as you have here in these 6 videos. I do have a couple of questions... first of all, there is a ceremony or something like that of having your calling and election made sure in the temple from what I understand. I am not sure of how this works but it seems like it shouldn't require the initiation of anyone (including church leaders) to have this happen personally. So, just wondering if you can shed light on that... I. think it may also be called the second anointing.
Secondly, for some time now, the 2 temples I frequent no longer change the lighting as we enter that part of the endowment. I am wondering if this is the case in other temples.

As we grow a little more (dc 109.15) we will find the answers r in the scriptures (dc 84.21; Mosiah 5.2) as to drawing down (Moses 7.62; dc 121.36) as well as to be rooted (Eph 3.17) as to a foundation fitly framed (Eph 2.21 )!
Everlasting are the kinds of covenants Our Father makes (dc 132.19) just as eternal is the kind of damnation the Father heaps out upon the wicked (dc 19)!
There r a lot of synergy as to the aspects of the gospel creation, fall, & atonement
That’s a good illustrator ur using what do u call that ?

WE are the temple of the Lord. He comes to us. Not to a building (not to say he cant come to a building). The temple is for those physical ordiances (and sometimes the spiritual ones happen to occur inside, but that is not the rule).

Ordinances are also commandments. That is how JS spoke of them. It has a double meaning. Look it up in the 1830 dictionary.
