Dedicated to the Harriton High School Chamber Orchestra
This one-movement work for string quartet is structured as a theme & variations work, which includes the theme and eight variations of varying moods. The piece begins with a loud yet somber opening, before the next eight variations modify and transform this theme in different ways.
