How often do you wash your hair? I was told you were only supposed to wash it once or twice a week because constant washing will ruin your natural oils.

I absolutely loveeee Shea Moisture's stuff but I have no huge issue - I hate the scent of it. I dont know what to do :( I love the results, but hate the smell :(
A really great, cheap alternative is the Garnier Deep Conditioners. They're called one minute masks, but I use them for 30 minutes with heat! My hair loves the banana and the papaya ones! :)

Joy Before Her Does she wet it first, before cutting it? Or does she brush your curls (on dry hair) and then cut it? PS: I know is not recommended for curly hair girls to brush their curls unless they are wet and with some slip. I'm just asking because most of the stylist I have seen or go to does it that way.

I wanted to try the DevaCurl Melt into Moisture does it moisture similar or better than the shea moisture? Also have you tried the Shea Moisture Manuka Honey and Yogurt Protein Treatment? My hair was so dry, I put the mask on an left it in for an hour, and my hair was like butter!
Vanessa Ebony No, they’re very different. The SM one is much thicker and the DC is thinner and lightweight. But both gave me good results. I tried the yogurt regular conditioner not the protein treatment, but I really like it!
What does the DC one smell like? I asked cause I'm not too keen on spending $36 on a 8 oz jar of hair mask if you know what I mean. I go to grad school and that can get costly. When you have the chance you should try the Maui Moisture SheaButter Mask it is so good! My hair gets frizzy from dryness, and it works really well for a $9 mask!

Put in some essential oils while applying it. Like lavender or peppermint if you like them.

Itsme Hi! The composition of novex products is really bad... lots of silicones, sulfates
I haven’t heard good things so I don’t use their products nor have I tried them
