WHAATEVEN LMAO. No they don't. But her came out beautiful. I can't believe it came out so big for it to have started out so thin & it didn't take hours.
Kelly - can you do a video showing how your hair look without a diffuser? I want to see the difference between air drying and using a diffuser. I currently don’t own one but will get one if I see a big difference.
having a diffuser is LIFE CHANGING. especially for people with thin/fine curly hair. i got my first diffuser 4 years ago and i haven't air dried my hair since. mine is from ulta and it was only $10, definitely worth it
@@hanabanana8028 I think the biggest tips would be -diffuse in different directions - DON'T SCRUNCH RIGHT AWAY start by going around the hair without touching it and ONLY when a sort of cast formed and the curls have set, you can scruch ! It'll save you from a lot of frizz🙇🏻♀️ Hope i helped : )
My curls are just annoying. I've never damaged my hair, I only straighten it maybe twice a year and I've never changed hair colors or anything. But when I was little my hair was straight and fine and flat. Then suddenly it just got curly. Now my curls are like ringlets on the ends but shaped like an s at the root and I have zero volume. My hair gets weighed down so easily so these tips are really helpful. Thanks!!
maybe try and cut your hair shorter and in layers for more volume?? my hair is just like this when air dried (much curlier with a diffuser) and cutting it short and with layers CHANGED my curl pattern
Also can I just say I just tried this whole routine myself - different products but I have the same fine hair as her, 2a/2b curls instead but the VOLUME I got was unreal. Especially from the picking techniques she shows in this video. So excited!! I’m going to do my hair this way every wash day now.
I’m finally learning to love my curly hair after straightening it for approximately 20 years. I absolutely adore your curls!! Thank you for making this video, it was very helpful. I can’t wait to try out some of these products, as well as your tips. Have a beautiful day doll! 💕
Great Techniques...fine hair is definitely a struggle when it comes 2 Volume...Thanks 4 da tips...u look Beautiful n ur curls are 💣..... Definitely will try some of the products..😉👍💞💁
Your hair is gorgeoussss. I'm a thin AND fine haired curly girl and I'm constantly looking for tips and tricks to get some more volume. Definitely going to try the bangs forward tip, I'm always struggling with getting my bangs to do what they're supposed to. Also You look like Mariah Carey, Beyonce and Ashanti all in one!
Use "Parachute 100% Pure Coconut Oil" twice a week. It adds protein and will thicken your hair over time. Also it makes your hair very strong, and shiny plus makes your hair grow faster than usual. I leave in the oil over night and then wash my hair with Mane 'n Tail, Herbal Gro Shampoo (from Walmart).
Thank you SO much for this. I was so skeptical to put so many products in my hair, because stylists always say not to. But I tried it since I already had almost everything you used and followed your directions religiousu. My curl pattern is different than yours (looser, more boticelli curls), but yowza, this really works and adds a ton of volume! Plus. my hair feels soft and not crunchy. Thank you again. I want to watch all your videos xx
Is your hair cut in layers? And what is your length when it's wet? Not sure how to ask when I go get my hair cut:( my hair at the moment is all one length on the back. I love your hair!
I just want to thank you for this tutorial. I have naturally curly hair which is very fine and sparse around my face. As a result I straighten my hair but have become concerned about the lasting damage that it’s causing. I used your method this morning and am so happy with the results, it’s so great to wear my hair curly and being pleased with the results! Thank you
Guuuurrlll - You are my new curl guru! I lost so much hair at the end of last year from stress and hereditary reasons. This video gave me some much needed courage even if your hair is not thin like mine. I am TOTALLY gonna buy that Aveda product too 😊
Hi Kelly! I'm naturally curly, but have a tomboy mom, never learned how to do my hair. So I've been straightening my hair for 20yrs and I'm ready for change. You have helped me through so many questions and I had to comment to say THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I'm on my first wk of the Curly Girl Method and so far my curls are responding great! I can't wait to have it down to a science like you, fingers crossed that I'll look remotely close to your amazing hair!! Keep up the great work, I'll be watching 👍❤️
I have fine/thin hair too and it's so difficult for me to get volume 😭 I love your videos! I was wondering, what diffuser/dryer do you use and recommend? I have a bunch of blow dryers but no diffuser and I'm not sure which one to get.
Nym girl talk is cgm approved , it's a texturizing powder that will create mass volume! If you dont care as much about the ingredients, the big sexy powder play is amazing! They also have a powder light one too
Thank you so much!! Best curly hair day ever for me. I used all the same products except for the curling cream - I substituted a foam. Not as voluminous as yours, but with my fine thin hair I thought I was never going to achieve curly hair that I liked.... but I did---Thank you!!
Wow! I have long wavy hair, I’m planning on getting a hair cut to get more layers and hopefully be able to achieve more volume.... I’m really excited to try that picking trick and clipping up the roots! Thank you!
I have fine very thin curly hair and DevaCurl B'leave In and the Defining Gel were total game changers for me. They don't weigh my hair down and it really do make it look fuller.
Thank you for the tips! Today is the first day in a long time that I feel great about my hair. My curls aren't as luscious as yours but following your tips made my hair look full at sexy! I am a happy girl!
You can still use the curl products though to get a little. : ) the devs curl stuff should bring out a lot of pretty waves in someone with straight hair. My friends with straight or wavy hair I always want to get them to scrunch with my curl stuff to see how it turns out.
Super adorable! At first I was cringing a bit because I have seen and personally do not comb the curls super flat since I've always heard it creates frizz. But you look stunning and also (I'm sure u hear it a lot-lol) but you look like Shakira. Thanks for the tips and techniques!
So, I like the defined look better, but what I like about the teaing trick is you can get an "edgier" look as apposed to super perfect defined curls!! You're hair is awesome though!! Love it!!
After watching this video yesterday, I got the Aveda thickening tonic and used it today. I also ended up buying Aveda curly hair enhancer. I can’t say my hair look thicker but my curls are so defined. I am still in need of volume and to keep my roof from looking flat. So I think I’ll need to cut more layers.
We have the same exact hair! I totally get you on the wanting more volume. I’m so glad you mentioned that the Diva Curl B’Leave-in is not a product that has hold because I bought it and was so disappointed that it didn’t work on its own. Now I know how to use it. Thanks!
wow your hair is beautiful! I have mixed girl hair and cut it about 2 years ago and now its back to its natural state. I'm going to try your technique see if it helps my natural curls show ♥
You are stunning 😍 I LOVE YOUR HAIR! Months ago, I had beautiful curly hair but now I just have loose waves and flat sections , i’m really going to try out your technique ! Thank you
Hi. I just found your channel. I was searching for curly hair products. I learned so much from this video. I really like the idea of splitting your hair to the front. I also have fine hair and don't have a lot of hair. I'm going to try your tips. Thanks
Your hair is absolutely gorgeous! I have fine curly hair too. Curly hair products don't tend to work well with my hair unless it's pretty wet (dripping here and there).
Nope, as you saw in the video I had a pretty good amount of volume. I think it depends on what the products do. These all do different things- thicken, volumize, define, lift... and they’re not heavy. The spray, gel and cream are lightweight
I just recently found your channel and I love watching all your videos!!! My hair is very long and I’m really struggling with my curl pattern and of course volume. I’m in this phase of trying to get it curly as possible, accepting my hair and sticking with it since I’ve always kinda straightened it. I really had no idea what to do with it and how to maintain but watching your videos has helped me so much. I just purchased some devacurl products and I been testing it out, seeing what works best for me. You’re so incredibly gorgeous and give me such Beyoncé vibes lol. Again love your videos and can’t want to see the next one ☺️❤️

I’ve got a gorgeous curl pattern!! Thank you for this video! I’ll definitely try your product and technique(s). I couldn’t make it without rusk blofoam. It’s an amazing rootlifter!! I also got a missing spray bottle to re-wet my hair and it’s perfect! Check blofoam and a misting bottle out, you won’t regret it.
I finally found someone with the same hair texture as mine! its so hard to fine people with this hair texture on youtube and I finally found a useful hair tutorial so thank you soooo much girl!
So beautiful! 😍 and your length and bangs are perfect... I’m gonna have to screenshot to see if I can find a stylist to cut my hair like that! 🤗 thank you for the tips!
okay so this might be a really dumb question but how do you manage to keep your hair wet while you're doing your makeup? or do you do your makeup and then spray water on it?
Alexis Sanchez It’s not a dumb question 😊So I usually like to do my hair first because I hate having wet hair on my neck and back. So once my hair is dry, I do my makeup. But for the video I just put my hair up in a clip, do my makeup, and re-wet it before I start filming
Definitely loving how your hair turned out. I have real fine hair and even after curling my hair ...the next day it’s all flat again and the curls aren’t as pretty as the first day styling it. Have you changed your hair routine since making this video??
Your hair is GORGEOUS! We have the same texture. But I noticed that you have a different type of haircut so that's why it also looks very voluminous. I don't even have a diffuser nor a denman brush. My hair is kindda dry so I don't know if my curls would look this good :(
I wish I had pretty curly hair like you. i have naturally fine, straight hair. My brother on the other side, has beautiful curly hair like you and he pretty much flattens and abuses it. it's a real shame. Keep being gorgeous girl 💕
OMG!!! Your hair is so beautiful!!! My hair looks so similar to yours wet, but NEVER dries like that! Definitely going to try these techniques and products! Is there anything you do to avoid frizz? My hair gets really frizzy after diffusing, where I can't even pick my hair.
Hey love the vid and tips was wondering how you get a hair cut? Dry? Wet? Curly? Straight? I love your cut and want to know what to ask for...thanks again
Thank you for this video! 😁👍Great tips! I love your hair! 😍 It does not look fine or thin to me. 🤗 I just wanted to mention that I have fine and thin hair and although it is a tip that may work for other people, layers do not work for me unfortunately. 🥴 It makes my hair look thinner towards the ends.
1. put thickening tonic
2. brush with Denman brush
3. seperate hair and put the top half section over your face
4. put leave in conditioner (running it through your hair)
5. put styling lotion (glide it on your hair, especially the ends)
6. put gel (finger coils)
7. scrunch scrunch scrunch
8. scrunch with microfiber towel
9. diffuse (flip hair around, scrunching)
10. separate big curls

you just have to make sure you're using it the right way. Make your hair as moisturized as possible so it won't get frizzy during the process

Try protein. There’s a chick named Jannelle who has a few great videos on how to figure out what your hair needs.
Try using a pick at the roots

I have type 2-3a hair so I must try your routine!! Question: how often do you wash your hair? Thanks for making these videos!
Lovely. Diffusing my hair has never worked for me, my 2b hair always ends up a frizzy mess :/ That shit is an enigma.

You’re hair is life! I have such a girl crush on it in this video
