I'm so relieved to see that curly hair without products is frizzy! Because my hair looks fine with cream and gel in it but when I just wash my hair and I don't put anything in it, it has no shape. So seeing that Amanda's hair looking like mine is really comforting
OH. MY. GOSH. WHAT HAPPENED?!? IT WORKED. I NEVER thought my hair could get THIS big! I’ve maybe used a diffuser ONCE and after watching this video of course I was doing it wrong. All this freaking time I’ve been letting it air dry, and it’s NEVER gotten this curly/volume before!!! Where have I been?! 😂🤦🏼♀️ like honestly, I don’t think I could ever go back to air dry, my curls are just more flat
So I tried this routine yesterday and completely ballsed it up by using too much product and not fully drying my hair before scrunching out the gel. Today? I AM SO HAPPY. My curls still need lots of work (lots and lots of work) to be all bouncy and beautiful like Amanda's, but holy moly, the difference is astounding. I deep conditioned, then used a curl creme on dripping wet hair, and then finger coiled immediately (while sat on the floor in the shower, so glam) before applying gel. For the first time ever I've got a good cast! Then I diffused, using Mel's tips, and when my hair was completely dry I used some coconut oil on my hands to scrunch out of the crunch. I actually have curls I'm proud of for the first time since I started wearing my hair naturally curly! Still a little frizz, but a complete transformation to previous stylings. Thank you Mel and Amanda!

My grandma has really beautiful curly hair and unfortunately i dint get that gene :( but she never does anything to it besides shampoo and air dry, that's been her thing for ever. So now i'm wondering how it would look if she actually took care of it!
My hair is closer to Amanda's than Mel's. Can you ladies do a video of Amanda doing her own hair. It will seem a little more realistic especially since you (Mel) are a hairstylist and I am nowhere near that 🤪 just to see how she grabs her own hair and in what sections, etc. 🙂

Even if they are small things and it’s really hard to find people with my hair type ! (2c/3a) And you’re hella funny 🤪

My favorite video by far... as I have hair down to my butt which is very coarse. What I learnt from this video that its just not about the product but how to apply and when.... Got my bes curl definition today... please please do your sisters hair more often... love your hair too, but was never getting the same effect, which you clearly explained today. So over blow drying my hair straight, takes way too long.. keep up your awesome work.

Yeah curly hair tends to be more frizzy, because of the curl pattern its harder to get oil from the scalp to go on the hair shaft

My favorite video by far... as I have hair down to my butt which is very coarse. What I learnt from this video that its just not about the product but how to apply and when.... Got my bes curl definition today... please please do your sisters hair more often... love your hair too, but was never getting the same effect, which you clearly explained today. So over blow drying my hair straight, takes way too long.. keep up your awesome work.

So wachted your video and i tried your method immediately . CG without combing through looks like a mess. And a lot of other methods wont work for my thin hair. But this method works soooo good. I love the result. My curls never looked this good! Especially my roots would always look flat. So thank you so so much. Love it!! 😍❤️👩🏻🦱

My daughter has super long thick and curly hair (Puerto Rican/Hawaiian hair) and I (super super long and straight hair) have no idea what to do with it. I appreciate your video. I have learned a lot.
