To add depth and texture, I employed a variety of techniques, including watercolors, Posca pens, Mica ink, and Neo Color II pastels. I would take a photo of the one with space inside, upload into Canva, and add a quote into the empty middle space. I do that with a lot of my artwork. Then I print them on greeting cards or art prints. So, that’s just another idea of something you can do with art you either love or hate and maybe make it better. It’s just like adding another layer!! 😊

Oh my goodness. I know a funny southern joke about “Bless her heart” but not for publication on here. I live in CA now but grew up in Louisiana. Never knew what southern hospitality was until I moved to PA. Then I went back home to LA for Christmas and went Christmas shopping. All the people who waited on me in the stores were sooo nice and friendly. I kept wondering why are they being so nice to me. Then it dawned on me. Here was the southern hospitality I had grown up with and never recognized. Now I understood Southern Hospitality.

Denise...don't change your laughter. My sisters and I find humour in the weirdest of places or situations, and some people have a hard time understanding what was funny. My French family is loud and everybody speaks at the same time. My poor hubby - an Anglophone - found it a bit difficult at the beginning but he's used to it now - HAHAHA. 💕
