Hello, I have a Redcat Rampage MT like yours and I was adjusting the high n low pins when is was accelerated and just shut off on me and didn't want to start back on, So I thought it was the spark plug or the ignition plug so I got these 2 new parts and still doesn't start back up I even took the carburetor and clean and got new fuel lines for it and still nothing. Does ANYONE knows what could be the problem is?
It's probably your pipe/muffler. It's loose and not not building enough back pressure for the car to start and stay started. Solution: Remove exhaust bolts, clean out the threads with alcohol, apply RED lock tight and screw them back in. 2 things to note: 1. Don't over tighten or you'll strip the aluminium. 2. Remember that the locktite needs drying time too, otherwise it's pointless.
2/3 of the redcap of Panolin oil is about 5 ml, I used a syringe to measure it... I need help with gas/oil ratio... When I try to completely empty the gas I notice a burnt plastic like smell coming from the gearplate which is stock (plastic) is it the gearplate or bad Gas/Oil mixture?
Check out the FAQ & Tips page on RampageShop. I have fuel / oil mix calculators on there. Burned smell could be anything but the stock gear plate on the XT is known to fail. Keep an eye on the bearings in the gear plate and consider upgraded to an MT gear plate or 7075rc gear plate some day
The Chimera is essentially the same as the XT / XB. I'd upgrade to the aluminum gear plate with oversize bearings as soon as possible (part 704568 at RampageShop
The Chimera Brushless hasn't been out for very long and not many have been sold yet. I may shoot a video in the future but not sure yet. Chassis and driveline is the same as the XBE
that's truly amazing, I can't get mine to start, from brand new, I have a brand new one coming again for Warrenty, in my opinion they are fucken Garbage

Does the chimera have any major issues befor I start bashing it still just breaking motor in now any bearing issues

Tried and still can't get mine to start... Read the directions and everything... Any suggestions?

Why don't you use true fuel? that you can get from Home Depot? Its ethanol free and it's pre mixed
They don't have 25:1 and is it high octane?
