Good to see the Redcat 1/5.
This was the rc video that got me hooked on the rampage and then I saw the mt pro in action!
Wow that's a sweet ass monster rc!! Have a rockslide from redcat and a super fast volcano 18..I like redcat products because they back them up with good customer support.
Just got my MT the body was cracked no biggie there gonna send me a new one. Fired this puppy up stock starts easy and runs cool extremely happy 😊 with the preference i can only wonder what its going to sound like with the new tuned pipe coming in.

I will be at your shop next week for that redcat xt Mt can't beat that deal nice vid I'm sold I have a rovan 1/5 305ft hpi baja king motar but I'm more hooked on that truck you have hope theirs more in Stock for $600.00

30 cc is not shit for hp . A 30cc engine should be putting out 5 or 6 hp right out of the box and that would be with out a tuned pipe . I fly gas Aircraft from 26cc to 225cc . The G26 will put out 3 1/2 hp with just a plain box muffler . A old W-75 will put out 12 hp back in the 90s . A G-62 is kind of weak at 5 hp .

watch for the steering servo, my xt came with a dead steering servo right out of the box

i would like to think ya for the vid m8 im really looking forward in getting one self, i have a rovan termator which i love to death but i want something alittle more beefy , i like the redcat rempage mt or the mt pro . but due to i got hurt at work money really tight been with out work for 2 years but i be find soon , i will try my best to spread the word on the truck .

I been having my rampage for a year now didn't play with it that much. I upgrade it 8000 rpm clutch jet pro pipe.recently I broke the clutch spring and I replace it now its creeping I I Idol it down but it's still doing it. When I press the gas it will go but it won't sit still when I don't press so what should I do and why it's doing it
For mine I have of grated it to make it a lot more powerful I need to get a new front and rear differential and then shall be ready to go where would the best place to get it my hobby store does not carried the parts

I am planning on buying the pro version of this truck next month. I have never owned a gas rc and can't seem to find an upgrade carburetor on ebay for it simply because I don't know what I'm looking for. I was wondering if you could recommend a carburetor and any other parts I may need for it. which shouldn't be much because the pro model is totally tricked out already with aluminum. thanks for your time

My rampage mt stop working.when I try to pull start it nothing happens the pull start won't turn and there melt shaving in air intake what dose that mean
+Eric Turner Sounds like you fried the motor. Did you mix oil with the gas? Metal shavings usually mean no lube between the piston and liner, and it won't turn over, so it's most likely seized up.
You will need to pull the motor, and pull the head, and see if it's seized up.

Bro 30.5 is for kids 10 HP is nothing you should get a big boys engine 78cc on this thing now you have a real RC.
Yeah, if all you wanna do is roll over and tear it to pieces. You'll be spending more time in the workshop and online searching for parts than actually outside, driving it.

I have got a redcat rampage mt
I have got a redcat rampage mt and it has been nothing but trouble, missing parts like the rear support towers.it ran good a couple of time's then throttle stuck wide open and almost lost it in a creek..was able to steer it into my leg to stop it.tritto start it again and the starter pulley striped .since then I went through 4 starters ,they all fall apart ao the second or third time. then it wouldn't start. Worked on it for weeks to
Find out what wrong with it ,the carberator was bad.ordered a new one .one start.,the same thing, had to order another one,finally got it started .started to run it again the servo stuck again and hit a brick wall destroyed the body and the new starter I just put on it .redcat is th we worst rc I ever had cheep made China parts and defective. Suggest stay away from redcat ,it will cost You a lot of money and a migraine

lol he is over selling it. I agree that redcat is good for the price if you know what your doing and how to fix it but by no means is it "Built well".
It's a good canvas for an experienced hobbyist to improve the rc car, I started with losi but later I saw the value in redcats

Mine blew up after 5 hr of use no warranty cause redcat sucks had it for 4 months so it went past the 90 day guy stay away redcat won’t stand behind their crap waste of money!!!!

This hobby requires strong mechanical skills, learn some and you'll have fun with any brand. Redcat sells a great product for the $$. I have the Rampage MT, having a blast with it.
