    In-laws used to have a holiday shack at Punyelroo. Lots of memories there. Went through a couple of floods as well and did a rebuild.

      Floods are not very nice but the river has a character that seems to hold people there.

    My family never went to Swan Reach , back in the 1940's and 50's our favorite camp was Walkers Flat. Usually over Christmas .

    More magic moments...thank Mick & Sally.
    The river looks far cleaner than the muddy flats with receding tides up here in coastal north Queensland.
    Have no idea where the tourist promotion persons take photos of white sand beaches and Palms....LOL

    Love your work Mick I have many great memories of camping and caravanning with my parents as a kid before the other section was cut off and reclaimed by the natives then camping with mates and later in life camping by myself in the new area but I can't go there anymore Ive blown motors in two bikes and last time my van I think the road from sedan is cursed I wasn't driving silly all three lost oil for no real reason and blew the motors before I got to swan reach bizzare!!

    Bonsoir Mick & Sally. Merci pour votre vidéo intéressante. J'aimerais vraiment visiter l'Australie (enfin, une partie, l'Australie est si grande). Mais ou faut-il aller? A bientôt à l'occasion d'une prochaine vidéo. JPh de France. (petite question: vous parlez d'une température fraiche le soir. Quelle était la température? Était-elle habituelle pour la saison? MERCI !)

      @justcruisinwithmicksally837  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Bonsoir Serial-Traileurs, greetings from the land down under, glad you found the video interesting. Australia has so much to see with it being so different in the north compared to the south. The temperatures would have been in the high teens during the days with it dropping to around 5 degrees during the nights which is normal for this time of the year as we are moving into our winter season.

    Hey mate, what did you use for the sun shades on your canopy and rear door windows?

    • @justcruisinwithmicksally837
      @justcruisinwithmicksally837  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The shades were purchased for a company in Queensland who trade under the name of "Solarscreen". If you google them they should come up.

    If everybody on the waterside had moved up instead of leaving gaps there would have been enough room for two more rigs in there.

      Very true but no one wants to be crowded out. The odd camper came in and thought it was full and continued driving, similar to us 12 months ago.

    Hey Mick I noticed your pedestal bbq again that you used on your Port Broughton video. I had one about 20 years ago but unfortunately sold it long ago. Do you happen to know the brand and name as I would like to see if I could get one on gumtree or marketplace?

    • @justcruisinwithmicksally837
      @justcruisinwithmicksally837  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      It is hard to read due to wear and tear but I think the name on the upright pipe is "Hot Ozi BBQ" which sort of rings a bell with me. Sounds like ours would be of a similar age to the one you had.
