Hi Mick. I guess there is a large catchment area to channel the water to the lower lying areas. If you were camped by that river and there was heavy rain you'd be out of there quick smart? Great winery spot to pass the time of day. Could see myself there. Keep those travel videos coming. From N Z.
The only issue with rain is some areas are muddy when the river is at its normal pool level when camping down in the area that is currently flooded. Being the main river channel, rain will not alter the water height.
Deflating is the only down side to the tyre monitors as you have to take them off of the tyres to deflate which is a bit of a pain. While driving deflated you have to fit normal tyre valve caps and leave the monitor switched off or it will sense a flat tyre.
Nice vid Justin. Enjoyed the comparison shots. Those tyre monitors probably saved your tyre. What line of work are you in that your trips start late Saturday and you return on Monday?
The tyre monitor definitely saved our tyre as we didn't feel the loss of air while driving. I am a truck driver doing Adelaide to Darwin weekly. Check out my channel and you will find a video I made from one of my weekly trips in the truck.
Great low key video presentation, just what I like.
Thanks Raccoons, glad you liked it.

Great looking spot
Yes it is.
omg, Hogwash was my families place to go camping when i was a kid. i havent been there in over 30 years
It is a much smaller area now than what it was say ten years ago. All come about due to people doing the wrong there there.
@@justcruisinwithmicksally837 that's such a shame, why can't people just go places and enjoy them instead of trashing them
@@andrewthornton6137 yes, couldn't agree more.
Looks so lovely and relaxing apart from rising water , that is worrying.👍
The water never rises fast enough to catch anyone out making it a great location.
I think we are on different planets)))) Australia is an amazing continent or an island, I don't know how to do it right)
We are blessed with what we have here in Australia.
Very interesting clip, we were camped up there in late May, would have got our feet wet if we were in the spot we stayed at. Lovely spot
Yes, one of the best spots along the river.

Hi Mick love the video just a quick question about the tyre pressure monitors how do you go about deflating your tyres in a off-road situation
Deflating is the only down side to the tyre monitors as you have to take them off of the tyres to deflate which is a bit of a pain. While driving deflated you have to fit normal tyre valve caps and leave the monitor switched off or it will sense a flat tyre.
