I’ve never been to Yarrawonga, but I lived in Echuca for a few years. I love Toce as it’s such a cute little town. I’m glad you enjoyed it 🤩

Thanks for the comment, yes it’s a good alternative if you can use 4wd and I guess it would be a lot quieter not on a long weekend

It is the Murray really has some really amazing camping spots. Sometimes it’s just hard If you have a van on to scope them out first

Another great spot if you are looking for a caravan park is the Ingenia CP. If you are coming from Melbourne its the left before you cross over the bridge. right on the river, big sites and open spaces. highly recommended. Its better known as 'Time Out'.

This is so great thanks for sharing! There are so many spots but when you have the van on it can be nerve racking heading down incase you get stuck. Cheers 🙌

I believe the rules changed about you “must kill carp and not return to the water”. Apparently the woke minority felt that was cruel.

You can return carp to the river but must be dead

@@davidmilledge221 It's people much like yourself that congregate at such spots which proves my point. As for the Murray it's a muddy river. Incidentally do they travel from overseas to holiday on the Murray?

@@australiaprisonisland9156 I don’t understand your point? My idea of a great camp is a peaceful setting, off grid, not many other people around, this sandbar area is not muddy at all. Have you visited the Murray? Do you only camp on beaches? I do love those too
