Nice work, job well done ! I keep a regular eye on your videos, and your moving at a fast pace! I'm almost finished with building my engine for my 56' stepside big window, very excited to get the rest of my frame-off build under way. However i am also doing a good share of welding of my frame indoors, and just realized all of the caustic welding fumes i was breathing in, and i just invested into a 3M breathing mask, the model that has real narrow filters. And Mike I just noticed in this C-notch video of your welding them in. Good buddy it looks like your probably injesting a pretty good share of it. My friend, I suggest you thinking about going with a "under the hood 3M resporator" as well. I found mine on Amazon, and I breathe much easier now. Besides I wanna see you keep leading the way, as you've been a great asset showing a bunch of us in the Tri-Five family the way! Best Regards, from the Central Valley of the West Coast, Danny G.
Sometimes it feels like Im moving at a snails pace lol. Yeah, I have a slim respirator that fits under the hood… admittedly, Im bad about wearing PPE (except eye protection). I really need to force myself to wear the mask more… I just feel like I cant breathe well and get so uncomfortable.
@@intheshoptv Yes, agree completely with the difficulity of breathing at times. I find the most respirator breathing difficulity is in warmer weather. And here come summer! Lately i have been opening all of my shop doors and running a fan close by on low, and moving the fumes right out the door. Keep up the good work my friend. : )
Looking good I was going to send you my rear tire size if you had not found what size you were going to use . I mocked my bed up it was not square and my tires are going to rub . So it is more than just rolling the inside of the bedside . So now I will need to find out what I am going to do next. What bed do you have ?
Hey Pat! A viewer was kind enough to send me a spare kit he had, but you can purchase them from “Paul Hortons Welder Series”. They make good stuff at really down to earth prices. Here’s the link to his front c-notches: welderseries.com/store/Front-C-Notch-Fill-Piece-for-Rack-EA-p51047358
@@intheshoptv Thank you Sir. I'm getting ready to start frame prep for the IFS and have appreciated the detailed information you provide in your videos. Can't wait to see more of your build!
Nicely done Mike, I can't remember how many times my magic boxes of bolts and "junk" bailed me out!
Right?! I’d be lost without my boxes o’ crap lol
Nice job, your frame is looking good
Thank you sir!
Excellent 👍 Thank you for spending the time showing us how! I will attempt this now real soon.
Good luck and thanks for watching

@@dangonchoroff8413 Thank you brother. And thanks so much for watching!
Not going to lie that is a great idea
Thanks!

I have a stepside bed. Was thinking a 20x10 wheel and hoping I can stuff a 295 on it. What size did you go with at the rear?
Fleetside bed 20x10 275 35 20 on the rear I am sure if the offset was better on my wheel they would tuck up under it .
Clamp a 2x4 to the bttm of the frame and do the same thing without having to weld your tab on
Yessir!
Where do you get the C notch plates? The Speedway crossbar kit doesn't come with them.
