    One of the very best, down to earth videos I've seen on any subject! No robot-like "poser" speech with every vowel pronounced long. No $10.00 words that mean exactly the same as $3.00 words! Spoken like regular people speak....how refreshing! I'm trying MJ's on when we locate 'em.

    Love the style of the Kine! Quality eyewear really makes a difference when worn daily. I do see the value and logic in the old saying, but once - cry once. Keep up the great videos my friend! 🤙🏼

    I have owned many psi’s of MJ and these are my favorite. I got Matt black and green blue lenses. Sunglass Hut has good warranty for $20 extra.

      They are a great pair of glasses. They are a bit heavy though but the lense clarity is top notch. Thanks for the comment and for watching! 🤙🏼

    I have the Kanaio Coast with Matte Tortoise Ombre
    Lens: HCL Bronze. They are incredibly nice. 5⭐️

      Can't go wrong with Maui Jims.....solid glasses all the way around. I even sent one back after a few years when the ear pieces were getting wasted and they replaced the entire frame! Thanks for watching and leaving the comment!

    I’m curious about something. You said you’ve had problems in the past with the rubber nose pieces and rubber on the temples coming off. Do you use sunscreen on your face? It seems to me that a lot of sunglass problem might be from the sunscreen reacting with the glue and rubber on the frame as well as even contributing to some of the lens delamination situations. I guess it could also be from salt or sweat as well but it seems that there’s something rather strong in sunscreen. I base this hypothesis on some rubber peeling on Costas by people that i know use large amounts of sunscreen particularly on their faces.
    Cheers

      I've never really thought about that before so good point. Living in Hawaii, using sunscreen is something that we use often, at least for me being light skinned. If I have a beach day, I for sure will be using sunscreen and some sunglasses so I'm sure at some point, some sunscreen has gotten on them. But if it's late in the afternoon when I usually ride my bike, I don't wear any sunscreen so overall I don't think that's been an issue for me. Sweat for sure gets on them and that might be an issue. Thanks for that comment and for watching the video!

      I just wish my Oakleys held up to scratches more....with me being a klutz and all! Thanks for watching another one!

    Why people keep buying oakleys is beyond me. Ruined by Luxotica and plastic lenses that scratch if you look at them the wrong way. No way should polycarbonate lenses be considered premium. And polycarbonate having the same clarity as glass is unobtanium. Nope. Not happening. Maui Jim is on (at least their glass lenses) a whole ‘nother level than Oakley.
    Cheers

      Good point! I think style has something to do with it too but you're right, if you are strictly looking at lenses, the glass Maui Jims are hard to beat. Thanks for watching and for the comment!

    Bro, try putting your glasses on backwards when you're not wearing them. Your ears and hat will lock them in place better that on top of your hat. Been working for me for years now..

    • @cruisinginthe808
      @cruisinginthe808  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You know, I've always been afraid to do that thinking that they will just slip off the back of my head since there is nothing to really hold them in place. I need to try it and see! Thanks for sharing that and for watching!
