Hey Poppt1. I liked the format but it would probably be more enjoyable for both the viewers and more profitable for you if you released a video/day for your training arc. This would allow us to be part of the experience with you and wouldn’t require us to sit through a 30+ minute video. I’m happy to do that, but you have to think about your audience as a whole. Most people want a quick break from life through a 15 min video. It’s less of a commitment so they are more likely to watch through the whole video. If you’re interested in how this format would look, then watch Ryan Trayhan’s “Deliver a penny to Mr. Beast challenge series.” In this series we followed him throughout his journey. It gained significant traction in the TH-cam community. Big fan of your channel and the rest of the Underdogs. Keep working hard!

    I loved this video, Poppt.
It wasn’t like every other “Played with *insert character* at a Tournament” video.
This really felt like I was watching a movie.
It showed your entire journey on your way to becoming a good Little Mac and also a lot of lessons about mental mindsets that you learned along the way.
This is by far my favorite one of these videos that you’ve made.
    Keep making great stuff, man.

I underestimated poppt’s genuine passion and love for this game, he treats it just like a sport. This was quite the journey, and I think he actually grew from it. He acknowledged his failures and learned how to improve upon them, not just in game, but in real life as well. Not only did he give it his all in this challenge, he still kept up with his daily life such as chores and dates with Holly. You are a truly honorable man, now go take a 2 month vacation. Love you, brother

I'm a long time viewer and I love this direction! My favorites of yours have been the major tourney set analyses and the "can I win a tourney with x character". This has elements of both of those, being actual information and advise along with your own personal growth, but rolled in a great story. I didn't expect it, but using a more traditional sports story structure really worked awesomely!

I can tell so much time went into this video but I think it was well worth it. I would like to see more of these types of videos but I think they should be mixed with your normal content. They feel like special Easter Eggs and are fantastic when you find one. Amazing job!

Great video poppt... I just wanted to ask if you could play your sephiroth for your next tournament video. I have been working on getting better with my sephiroth and I watched your tutorial videos on him as well and I believe that seeing you play him in a competitive environment would really show me ways to improve my sephiroth. I know he isn't really a LOW TIER FUNNY CHARACTER, but it would mean a lot to me man. 😅

From a long time fan of the channel I really enjoyed this video and kept wanting to keep watching. I like how it's long and the parts of you after the tournament are probably my favorite. I do want to give some feedback only because I want you to grow. I think if your going to go in this direction you might want to explain more about the game/character at the beginning so we understand how it works and the risks and I think you going into more detail about what combos or strategies you used while training could be very cool to see. Thanks for the great video, absolutely loved it and love the way your expanding your channel, keep it up

That feeling you felt while driving and realizing all the strangers you pass each have a life and story unique to their own can be described as sonder.
"the realization that each random passerby is living a life as vivid and complex as your own-populated with their own ambitions, friends, routines, worries and inherited craziness-an epic story that continues invisibly around you like an anthill sprawling deep underground, with elaborate passageways to thousands of other lives that you’ll never know existed, in which you might appear only once, as an extra sipping coffee in the background, as a blur of traffic passing on the highway, as a lighted window at dusk."

Please do this with Robin! Underrated and underused character that is super fun to watch and play!

This video was amazing, focusing on what goes through everyone’s head who’s trying to get into competitive settings. Also addressing non-smash audience is amazing.

@Poppt1, this is, without a shadow of doubt, one of the best videos I have ever seen! Genuinely, like, legit from the bottom of my heart, I would love more content like this in the future. YOU'RE AMAZING, POPPT!!!!!

This is weirdly what I needed to see right now. The message of this video on a video game on a smaller TH-cam channel I’ve been following for a few years taught me about perseverance and learning from mistakes. I just finished my undergrad engineering degree with not failing grades but low enough grades to make job opportunities near-obsolete. Instead of accepting mediocrity and accepting this, I’ve applied to a masters as a form of redemption in mine and my family’s eyes. I hope to come back in a year and say it all worked out and partially credit my success to a Poppt1 video

Gotta say, not much of a smash player, but more than the gameplay, really enjoy your storytelling, and especially appreciate your ATTITUDE! You are awesome!!
