I think what happened was Nick used the final smash at the same time he hit the blast-zone. This caused the following events to occur:
1. Nick hits the blast-zone and the game puts the character into the "knocked-out" state.
2. Nick uses the Final Smash. This causes the character to go from the "knocked-out" to "using final smash" state.
3. The game detects that the character is not in the "knocked-out" state and KOs them again, causing the loss of another stock.
4. The character goes back into the "using final smash" state on their own due to the animation of the final smash.
5. Events 3 and 4 repeat every frame until Nick is out of stocks.
This also happens with the Turbo mod if you spam attacks while in the blast-zone, but it only removes one stock per time you do it.
It's rather impressive that he timed it so horribly well.

5:40 Xenoblade expert here, if you count the City house names in Xenoblade 3 as canon last names (which makes sense because they’re used as the city folk’s last names), then Pyra and Mythra’s last name would be Rhodes.

3:28 as a splatoon lore fan, from all that i know, inklings ink is not toxic to humans. the reason the inkings die to the ink is that they have VERY thin skin that can absorb liquids easily. and if they absorb to bmuch water or enemey ink, their skin cant take it and they explode. neat!
All Nick would have to do to beat one is use Water Gun, the Pokemon move or just an actual water gun

@@TheJezterGuy no, the enemy ink goes through their thin skin because it travels at a high velocity, water from a water gun would also travel fast enough to penetrate their skin and splat them. *Splashing* them with water wouldn't be enough, but *shooting* them with any liquid would follow the same physics as enemy ink

As a splatoon fan, I can say with 100% certainty that Nick could definitely take an inkling in a fight lol, their ink is only harmful to each other and would just get him wet like anything else if they tried shooting him with it. They might be a little hard for him to get his hands on though.
I think if a jet of super pressurized bolt of liquid from something like a charger or a stingray would kill a human. But if we're going for smash weapons, the air pressure from the killer wail would also kill. Plus I'm pretty sure inklings are pretty strong, as it's canon they can jump 6 feet into the air, although minus they are also canonically 13 years old.

Like you said, splatoon fans will get mad. Technically the ink from their gun in a few seconds can destroy wood, and some weapons can shred metal instantly, I don’t think you would live.
true, but tbh if the fight where to be fought on equal ground, either you don't give the inkling her weapon and so in hand to hand combat most likely a human would be stronger, or you give the human a weapon aswell, and so there it becomes a question on who is the better shooter, which is obviously the inkling, but still I would say it wouldn't be so absurd to have a human win even in that situation
@@drunkdeer6923 that is true but inkling would be hard to hit with physical attacks since they don't have bones also while in their squid form they basically become liquid so they would be impossible to hit. They also have a ton of strength in their legs since they can jump up to six feet so a kick from them would probably hurt. Also while you would probably end up fighting an average inkling teenager I would still expect them to be fast and agile since a main part of their culture is combat based sports.

To be fair, canonical size is not Kirby's strong suit. Although Kirby is about 8 inches tall in the opening of Dream Buffet, he is shown to be at least 2 feet tall in Forgotten Land (somewhat vague) and at least a third of Samus's height in Dreamland 3 (5-2).
Dedede is a worse case because his height changes constantly.

Princess Peach Rescue Operation (that one Mario OVA where Luigi wore yellow instead of green) states that she is 5'3. Unfortunately this same pamphlet has the false info that she is 16 which is false because of games like Mario and Luigi: Partners in Time and Yoshi's Island DS having Peach only slightly younger than the Bros. who are usually said to be in their mid 20s. Though, this OVA did come out in 1986, a year after this world was established (and also isn't canon to the games though I struggle to use the word "canon" for a series as loose as Mario). Partners in Time probably just "retconned" her age and this is the only "official" statement on her height that hasn't been "retconned" as of yet and thus her "canon" height. As for where "6'1" came from, from what I could find it originates from Tumblr. A user was trying to decipher the heights of characters in the game-verse as well as the characters from the Super Mario Brothers Super Show. Apparently, *game* Peach comes out to 5'8 and *Super Show* Peach (or rather Toadstool) is 6'1. While the user said to take the Super Show with a grain of salt, they never said anything about the game heights. So I would say Peach's height is between 5'3 and 5'8 (going in the middle here with 5'5). Basically the point of this comment was to show that Peach is not above 6ft and I don't have a life.

Mod idea: it’s smash but every characters moveset has been replaced by randomized moves from other characters, so you might get something garbage, but also something that might synergize very well! I think it could be fun.
I realize now that this may be very hard to mod? I have no experience modding so I wouldn’t know, but thought I’d share at least.
