You are correct. I still screw up sometimes. I try to minimize that, but good catch. I will watch for that on my next playthrough of this game.
How many Campaign Sheets are there in the box?
I don't have my game box handy, because I am in the middle of relocating, but I can assure you there are several. If I remember correctly, it seems like 8 or 10 different campaigns.
Couldn't you have removed both the HMG and the infantry on that Turn 1 over-target event?
