I don't understand what you do when you get to the shows and the arms do skip over the arms do you go all the way around and keep going I need more clarification in your video is not very clear I even bought the written pattern and it's not clear because you have 25 shells and I've got like 40 something it doesn't make sense. the pattern doesn't make sense not even written.
@Laurie Pedersen MOONDANCE I incorporated the fan into the sleeve stitches on the first round and this seemed to be right , hope it's helped .finished mine and considering I've never crochet before I am extremely pleased with it
This is a very cute sweater. I wish you talked a little slower and showed us the last few stitches at the end of each row. I also did not know what a v stitch was, I had to look it up. I also am left hand, so that made it harder. But with that being said, I did make this sweater. It came out great. Wish I could share a photo. Thanks so much for sharing. You did a good job.

Diving the sleeves: on the 1st sleeve after you have chained 4 than skipped 33 stitches you do a double crochet in the top of the 1st double crochet after the stitch marker. But on the 2nd sleeve you miss the stitch at the top snd go straight into a front post?

Row 8 of DC which is the last row of the yoke is worked on the right side. Then row 1 of the body which is the row where you divide the sleeves is worked from the wrong side. From there you can tell right side from wrong side because the fan st pattern starts.
There is no mention of the shells because it’s written within the pattern of what these shells consist of. It’s a two row process. Also, the sleeves are worked last. I suggest you watch the tutorial from the beginning to help you see the construction of the sweater. I hope this helps.

Quick question, what size bows did you use. I think they are a lovely little addition.
I made them myself from a TH-cam tutorial on how to make bows with your fingers. The ribbon size is 5/8in or 1.59cm
